It’s Mansford more than anyone for me.

Used to be his agent old pals go back a long way look after the boys and no compensation involved so a no brainer for me.

Also for me sounds like Mansford didn’t do a good job in selling the club to Rosenior I mean how can a No2 at a league one club not want to be a head coach in the championship?

Think Mansford has a lot to answer for personally.

In the mean time welcome Michael Appleton go prove us doubters wrong.
 
Does seem a very easy and convenient appointment must say, clearly rosenoir was very ambitious and career minded, easy option get the more compliant candidate in..🤣

IF...he does well, were going to be singing his name and jumping around
IF...he does bad, were going to be doing exactly the same thing as we are now.

Yes they were always going to appoint a manager granted but it’s the circumstances surrounding the appointment many are questioning.

FFS we don’t even know the real reasons why the last manager left yet nothing at all from Mansford/the club.
 
The man left to double his wages and have a chance of going back to Liverpool in 2 years as the number 2 (assistant manager...not a poop)

And how do you know in 2 years time he’ll end up at Liverpool? Him and Gerrard might both be potted by Christmas if they have a shocking start to the season.

All we’ve heard is what the club want us to hear, do you not find it surprising that Critchley hasn’t addressed the fans yet? Yes I accept he doesn’t have to but come on.

He’s not our manager anymore? He doesn’t need to “address us.”

We will never find out the real reason because it’s none of our business, the club have reappointed another manager, whether we like it or not, we have to move on.
 
Already got £300,000 grand in transfer chest not paying Derby plus monies saved for paying contracts up on backroom staff.

Yeah that's a daft as a Championship manager wanting to be a No2 at a Premier League CLub, who'd do that...

Critch's wages will have increased considerably or even doubled......(educated guess)
O.K...in the next 3 years for the Liverpool job.....but who says Jurgen the German stays for 3 years.......🤔

Everything else is planning......Planning to do well with Villa, planning to work with quality Prem footballers, coaching at the highest level.
How the fuck do I know this.....I don't, but others promoting conspiracy theories about Mansford giving Appy a job is more likely......really???

Some people need to get out in the sun to talk to other humans and stop watching day time television for a living

Rosenior is assistant coach at Derby County, where they have an international class stadium and state of the art training facilities, all Mansford got to show him was an unfinished Bloomfield road, Squires gate and a bunch of drawings.
Quite a hard sell I imagine.
 
Seems like Ben Mansford will be the latest victim of an AVFTT witch hunt. It shows a complete lack of class by the posters involved, bringing the man’s professional integrity into question.

People know people in football, I know people in my area of business, it’s quite normal. To think that we would hire somebody based on that relationship is just idiotic.

And the posters completely ignore the fact that Ben Mansford was only one of four people involved in the interview process. So basically the other three, including Simon Sadler, are so thick they can be easily duped by one of their number.

The only person to blame if we must is Critch for leaving. The board have made a decision on whatever grounds & let’s face it we don’t really have a clue. I’m willing to give the guy a chance.

Not if you have any ambition or imagination. Maybe Rosenior has neither. He's going to have to take the jump at some point and the fact that he's apparently turned his nose up at Blackpool will put some future employers off already.

Didn’t think it would take long for the resident Cod lover remarks to come out how very childish.

But hey being as you brought the subject up I’am sure Scott Brown didn’t have the issues Rosenior had when Pilley gave him a tour of Pool Foot.

It is what it is I’am afraid and we have to accept that we’re still years behind some league 2 teams when it comes to training facilities.

F me ok yep Mansford got his mate it, really?! When things go a bit tits up this forum becomes absolutely full of bollocks, Appleton is safe hands for me, we will not go down with him and the whole club is going forward in the next 5 years off the field in a massive way. Now get Brannagan, Simms, Ballard and Gareth Bale in.
 
I will always appreciate what SS/Mansford are doing for the club.
Hopefully we will be eating our words with Chips if MA pulls off the ultimate by the end of the season.
 
The blame game rarely benefits anyone. It’s not the appointment I wanted but I’m prepared to give anyone a chance, even a second chance in this case.
