If we had won today would we really have been papering over the cracks?

We might have gone up, however even if we had have won at wembley it would have been papering over the cracks of having a coaching team that in my opinion is second rate. Our attacking play for much of the season has been reliant on individual moments of brilliance. Most of the time our final pass has been very wayward, no runners, runners going too early too late, wrong direction. A midfield that has at times been thoroughly confused and too easily overrun. Playing dull boring """"possession based""""" football !!!!! (which largely led us being inneffective route 1 often to a 4 foot six striker or attacking midfielder), rather than playing the attacking football that (when we did it) the players seemed to enjoy and excelled in. In most respects for me this season was even more disappointing than last.
