If we just had that second goalscorer

Yates was hardly prolific before he came here though. Sometimes players just fit in at a club. Hopefully when Joseph has finished ‘being on the grass’ for 3 months we may see him

From the beeb. Of those listed I would particularly hope Lavery and Kouassi to improve over time and Joseph when he re-appears.

I’m beginning to wonder, I mean I’ve heard his name mentioned a few times in here but apart from that no idea who he is or what he does??????
Joking aside, don’t underestimate how hard it has been for him to not be able to play so early on. He’s itching to get a tangerine shirt on, and Critch will help him smash it for us 👍

What we need is a 20 goal a season striker. Oh and a 15 goal a season striker. And a ten goal a season back up striker. And three 5 goal. A season midfielders. What does that add up to? 50. That's not enough! It's not easy this goal planning malarkey.

I’m just so glad we never took the chance on Colby Bishop that could of been a complete disaster nearly as bad as signing Anderson or Stewart

Most times at the end of the season, teams promoted have two players in the top goalscorers list

Do they? How far do you go down the list? 10? 20?

Plymouth didn't have one in the top 10 but won the league. Their highest was Hardie with 13.

Sheff Wednesday's highest got 14.

Both these teams had a good spread of goals from all over the squad though.

You are lucky if you get one prolific goalscorer, you are being unrealistic to expect if we can get Rhodes to 20, and get Lavery, Kouassi and another into double figures, we'll be half way to getting the 80 odd goals you typically need for promotion. It's where the balance of 40 comes from that's the question for me.

Can we expect 8 each from Dale and CJ?

Then 5 a piece from 3 of the midfielders, with the CBs chipping in 10 between them then we'll be in good stead. Also far better than an over reliance on individuals.
