If we sell Bowler...

I’m not so bothered about selling players, that’s part and parcel of the game, even our best ones. But selling them mid-season when we apparently don’t need to is mad and a recipe for stagnation at best and problems at worst.

None of us know all the facts regarding this potential transfer or who may come in to the club.
The owner has invested millions, Im sure he & Critchley will make the best decision for the club
long term.

My main concern is what we get for him if he goes.

Are we still little Blackpool?
We are a Championship club with a sort after player, few clubs interested.

Our mentality needs to change. I’m watching with interest on this.

I still don’t think Bowler is going anywhere this window.
If neither Bournemouth/Forest meet our valuation figure of him then he won’t be going anywhere.
It’s ok for Scrafton to post about a bidding war for him but if their well short of that figure then nothing happens simple.

We are still the Blackpool as advertised by Simon Sadler…picking up players for low fees or on frees, getting them developed or playing well and then selling for a big profit to invest in the next batch of players of promise to continue the cycle. We just haven’t had to deal with the selling bit so far and it’s a shock to some. Trust the process!

To transfer one of our better players to a rival is madness. We fought tooth and nail for a point at Fulham and then we give them an advantage by presenting them with a matchwinner.

So he's gone then... sigh. And here I am wanting us to hold on to a player like that...
