Wednesday morning headline

"Mysterious new investor meets Simon Sadler"

If I was to win I'd limit my investment to infrastructure only.

I'd pay for the completion of the East and the Training ground. I'd put them in trust to lock them up so they couldn't be sold at some future date.

I'd chuck a few million at the Kop end to get a clear look through the ground at the Tower as I think it would look ace on the TV.

I'd improve the speakers and get a new giant screen.

For my investment, I'd want 3 seats in the Kop until my my boys have their own kids then one each for the grandkids in perpetuity. And for the speakers to be muted 15 minutes before kick off to allow the atmosphere to build.

I'd pay for anything else - as to be frank, I could easily afford it.

And I'd still have £75+ million to play with for everything else in my life which is still an obscene amount of money. The interest on the interest @5% would be £3500/wk and I think I'd manage ok.

I can dream.

Well I've popped in another lucky dip for Friday.

I had 2 of those emails😃
Won a grand.total of £6.60
We could maybe put our money together😂
Oh well I was excited for a grand total of 30 seconds until I logged into the National Lottery app. Damn, I'd bought us some great players!

That’s why if I get a “you’ve won a prize” email, I leave it for a day or two! The dream is good for my mental health! 🙂

I would probably buy/rent a box at the ground, maybe a discreet sponsorship of a couple of players, and that would be my limit.
I just haven't got the ego, and I certainly wouldn't be thick-skinned enough for the criticism. Besides I would be too busy having a great time,
buying Preston and putting it in the conference where it belonged. :)
 
I would invest in a bigger boardroom to fit you lot in and watch us all thrash out the kind of manager, players, infrastructure etc we want which we would never agree on anyway.😁
 
I'd probably never see Blackpool again (other than flying over it). I'll watch games on my £20 million motor yacht from somewhere in the Aegean.
 
No chance. Some of our fans wouldn’t be happy if we had a top Premier League Club with foreign investors and we were playing brilliant football. They’d find someone to blame!
I wouldn’t like to be that person giving my all only to be slaughtered.
