IF YOUR NOT GOING TONIGHT LIKE ME WHY??

But can't make the effort to travel a short distance from Poulton and has to tell the world.

🤡
I believe I have a right to complain as a customer, I hope the club will finally sort out this “inept” policing , parking and north stand catering so they don’t lose out on income.

I’ve already paid to go tonight so they have only lost my potential expenditure in the ground.

I really don’t give a deck what you or anybody thinks.

I don’t “run with a pack of cowards” on a social media site hiding behind a “user nam” 🙄🙄

Many of us do it at cost, because we enjoy helping our fellow supporters get to grounds they wouldn't otherwise go to. YS subsidise trips where possible, not take a cut.
Errr

If YS is subsiding trips it means it got the money earlier through donation or making profit on other trips.

Ash / PLF Seasiders has had to subsidise other trips - what’s the difference??

We charge subs of £5 per year, plus money raised through sale of badges, beer at HQ etc. Ash does a great job. I was responding to the comment that people running trips should take a cut. I don't think Ash does it to make money for a moment. He puts himself to a great deal of trouble and no doubt expense, to make these things happen, as do all those providing a service to fellow supporters.

Please see SLO post on policing. One down, hopefully.

This surely has to be a wind up. If you have issues simply email the club. No need to air it on a public forum.
Not a wind up, if it’s something one cares “passionately” about gor the benefit of all going forward, going public has more impact than a “cozy private email”.

I don’t think “cozy emails & meetings” with BSA & Karl Oyston did the long term benefit of OUR Club much good.🙄🙄🙄

Strange cat
I’m pretty sure a significant number of blackpool fans aren’t boycotting tonight because people smoke in the bogs and away fans leave the ground at the same time as home fans. Get a grip.
I didn’t say I was “boycotting” I’ve decided it’s a more “attractive” proposition as the match is live on TV to watch it at home.

My choice certainly not asking others to follow suit but a lot will already have decided to do the same. Out of their “personal choice”.

Very poor approach. If everyone had the same mindset in watching the game on the tv, the atmosphere would be nil as the ground would be full of Liverpool fans etc who use the tickets. We are a completely different club to that under the Oyston regime and an email or phone call to the powers that be would be responded to and dealt with appropriately. You’ve gone down in my estimation here with your approach 👎

Did you post this thread so everyone replied and said yeah you’re right let’s all watch it at home or did you do it so people called you a shit fan so you could argue back with them ?

Parking and gridlock after game are a pain. This season I've driven to a tram stop, free parking and got the tram there and back. Free for old tossers, £1.50 each way on the Tangerine ticket, short walk from St Chads Rd tram stop to ground

Not sure what the point of the OP is - the points seem to descend into knocking the club and excuses for not going when only living around the corner.
I’m not going, reasons being work and the kids, no other motives or withholding my support because of perceived club shortcomings.

Well I really won’t lose sleep on that one.

Do you really think I’m the only person to have made that decision tonight.

The attendance will prove it’s not.

It’s for a number of reasons as stated The TV being the biggest factor and a “school night” however, there are still areas of improvement the Club can influence to reduce the number of individuals undertaking such “personal decisions” that the are entitled to go.

If we were playing Knobbers tonight my decision would not be the same.

Are YS going to the effort of sorting Luxury 50 seater coaches to a good deal of the away games though Wiz? Or as in the case in point 150 folk on a party boat down the Thames.... I take my hat off to anyone who makes the effort to organise this kind of stuff as I certainly couldn't be bothered with the hassle.👍👍👍

Neither, I posted it to be “honest” saying I preferred to watch it at home, impacted by factors the Club can put right gor the benefit of all.

I couldn’t give a feck what sort of fan anyone thinks I am to be honest 🙄

Since the Pandemic and the horrendous time under Lockdown my outlook has changed. The lack of being able to have shared experiences which for me are Football, Gigs, Festivals and Theatre really got me down. There was a significant period of time when the outlook was bleak on these fronts and I wondered if we would EVER be able to do these things again. I remember saying to my Mrs I will never complain about having to queue again or moan about all the things I used to moan about at a large event. I now sit in the traffic after a game with radio lancs on and enjoy the fact that I am actually there. I only wish I’d had this outlook previously, it’s a much happier state of mind.

Very poor form. I really hope SS doesn’t read this as the progress the club have made over the last couple of years has been nothing short of phenomenal. To feel the need to criticise in the way that you have is despicable. There is always a drop off at midweek games but generally it’s the exiles. The majority will undoubtedly be there with you being in the very small minority of fans who could get there but choose not to.

I was replying to Recidvist post about the SLO knowledge about smoking I know it goes on in the Bogs but as ever you jump on anything I post what about the other derogatory posts against yourself which I have done none.

So as ever get your Facts right first and read what is posted befere singling out me. 👍
🙄🤔 That didn’t quite go the way you planned it now, did it. I think you were hoping for little likes from your little playground pals weren’t you. 🤜🤜🤜🤜

Well I hope Ben Brett Linton and especially SS do!!!!
They have undoubtedly made so Many positive improvement’s in a short time.

I now expect them to respond in the same positive manner with respect to the diabolical parking, policing & concession management we have experienced every home game this season.

Rome wasn’t built in a day but we can’t stop building.

If you couldn't give a toss what others think Ash why do an ooh look at me post and invite others to have a go?
You perceive it as you wish, you have a “personal choice” as I have made mine to prefer to enjoy watching TMP on TV tonight from the warmth of my home than to go to Bloomers and suffer inept policing, parking, concessioners & egress from the stadium delaying my drive home after the match.

Yes he does. The o/s smoking area was created as a concession to stop the smoking indoors.
Thanks for your response, despite Poolseasider’s reservations

The fact still remains that the o/s smoking area hasn’t resolved the issue. Do the club have a plan B?

I can’t quite believe the shite that ToryCorner’s post has engendered

Some of you really need to grow up and rise above the mob mentality of so many on here

Forest was in a 24 seater with tables, kitchen, minibar and fridge 🤣

I’m just disappointed that you haven’t organised a canal barge to Birmingham

Does the @SLO know about the smoking in the bogs or is it out of sight, out of mind for the club and is it mainly pipe smokers like it is in the west 🤔
Should put a fire hose over the toilet door & soak the area, as its not only illegal, it might be a fire.... 🤣

Made my decision ,reluctantly, some time ago that Midweek (Night ) Games at Bloomfield Road are no longer on the agenda at this time of year as the 120 mile( yes not much compared to quite a few on here) round trip arriving home late and often detoured due to motorway road closures ( as happened earlier this season) is a bit too much for me at 70 coming soon up to 71.
I’ve done my fair share of these trips since 1977 when we moved here,in fact as far as league games are concerned until the boycott years I am pretty sure I only missed two I could have got to( I have missed others due to being away on holiday abroad).
Brighton way back in 2000 when there was a petrol shortage due to strike action and I couldn’t guarantee filling up to get into work the following days and “Wet Spam” when the wife asked as she was not well.

We lost both games so I didn’t feel quite so bad in the end.😳

If I lived on the Fylde Coast and didn’t have so far to travel I guess I would be there but I don’t.

The hardest one to miss will be the ( Xmas) Middlesbrough game on the 28th but I am going to have to be consistent. If only they‘d KO at 3pm that day☹️.

To be fair we have done a party boat at Fulham and have devided the price equally between everyone. Not sure id want to make money on friends.

Your post will probably be brought to their attention and if so, I’m sure they will take your points seriously and act upon them accordingly. It doesn’t hide the fact that they will probably laugh amongst themselves at your approach. I fully appreciate you are not bothered but your credibility is shot with the way you have highlighted it. You’ve certainly got some attention and provoked. I’m really looking forward to being at the game tonight and supporting the team with the thousands of others. Enjoy watching it on the box!

That's fair enough.... I'm simply saying I really don't care either way.... If someone takes on the job / hassle of organising something like that It makes no odds to me if they make a few quid or not... I have the choice to pay the price and go and I have the choice not to bother or to organise something myself etc.. If it's a trip with mates, then that might be different👍

Look I couldn’t care about what you think my credibility standing may or may not be.
If something gets done about the inept policing, parking, concession management & egress from the ground as an overall “match day experience” good will come from it to the benefit of ALL.

Enjoy the match at Bloomers, I certainly am looking forward to watching in on TV and here’s to 3 points tonight and on Saturday.

I’m really looking forward to going to Birmingham on Saturday taking 52 fellow Seasiders down there to be “loud & proud”.

Always found the “match day experience” down there excellent with respect to policing, parking, concessionaires & ingress & egress into and out of the stadium.

Here’s hoping it’s the same at Bloomers soon🙏

You keep warm tonight TC lad.

I will drop a flask of Horlicks off on my way home from the game. 😘

😩🍵🍪🧀
I have it on good authority that TC is staging a one man protest about the shameful slashing of the PLF to BFC executive monorail from the UK rail budget. Either that or "Jane MacDonald" is back on the block 😂

Were playing the third in the League, a team that for all bar two of the last ten years were in the Premier League. We have the possibly the strongest in depth squad we've had in years and competing in almost every game this season. These are the kind of nights we fought for in the shit years.

However, its a bit cold, and you cant park where you want so then snuggle up in your BFC pyjamas at home its your choice.
