If you bought a match pass from ifollow on Saturday and you didn't get access will you please let me know.
 
i have a season pass, couldn't watch the game live and was hoping to watch the replay today, but so far only access to the highlights. no response to queries from i-follow either
 
most of the time it functions ok, apart from the chisnall commentary, but hes not even the worst of the commentators. when it doesnt work it really does not work and the customer service is abysmal
 
Customer service is terrible. I paid twice for the first game cos my pass wouldn't work. I know my IT and all they had was "have you switched it on and off" even though I'd already told them I'd tried x, y and z as well as a, b and c.

When I paid again, I asked could I get a refund and had no response at all.

It turned out, they credited me for the next game but didn't tell me. An email would have been handy as I could easily have ended up paying and not knowing I'd got that credit.

It seems like they simply don't have the bandwidth to cope with high demand. Saturdays game buffered on and off all the time.

It's a tenner a go, I'll have spent more on iFollow than sky would have cost for a month by october and I don't think a solid stream is too much to ask for.

I don't mind the commentary or camera work, I realise it is what it is and multicam action and doing anything other than taking a local radio feed costs a lot, but the drop outs and buffering aren't acceptable as that's the basic product.

I would like the option to kill the commentary all together if possible.

I was using the chat, the guy told me to refresh the page (I had done about 50 times but did anyway) - chat disappeared and had to start all over again with a different fella.
 
Managed to get it on about ten mins after kick off, froze at some point and I think for a tenner the commentary is shat, especially when it goes around the grounds while your try to watch the game. Needs sharpening up and could be good business around the world, but for now as long as BFC benefit I will keep paying to watch.
 
Welcome to the world of an exile! It’s great you lot are now finding this out, and hopefully get some momentum going on fixing. For the record my stream worked well on my iPad.
 
My stream on my firestick was perfect, straight on the tv as well. I bought a season pass from the club but don't use it as its not as good as using my firestick.
 
Insider, I was able to watch via the App, but only commentary when trying to cast to the TV.

I didn’t get anything for the Stoke game, but then I bought in advance. This weekend I paid at 2.30 and went straight to the video.

The customer service is dreadful, through chat and email. They lie that all is well and that it’s the customer that’s at fault. They even sent me a screenshot of the Stoke match to say it was working perfectly.
 
I can honestly say I have never had a problem when abroad.

Then again I have never tried anything fancy - laptop plugged into TV with HDMI.

The more tech and software you introduce the more problems you will have.

I would advise anyone watching it to check who else is on their network and their download speed.

I've been a regular user of ifollow at home, abroad and pretend abroad right from it's introduction.
It's not been plain sailing but most of the issues were easily resolved.
However this season on both occasions I paid I've had a problem. The freebie I got worked fine.
The non ifollow friendlies were also problem free.
I'm currently waiting for an explanation from ifollow.
 
I gave up at half time. Saw no active play. Just a handful of stills. Eventually got an online chat assistant and was told my Broadband speed was far too low. I have requested a refund.
 
I got, access after about 20 minutes, it was 30 minutes for the Stoke game. On my laptop.

similar experience to others. Couldn't get it to work on my smart TV, so had to watch on my laptop. By the time I started, 10 mins had gone and I had missed their goal.

The main problem is that you can't get it sorted before the game, so if there is an issue, you inevitably miss the frsit few minutes. I also had to buy it twice for some reason. Is there any chance of refunds?
 
The first time I used it I had a spinning circle every 10 seconds. Someone on here recommended clicking on the settings cog (bottom right) and lowering the quality of stream. I did and it has worked pretty much fine since.
 
Tried several matches on tv through fire stick but too much buffering/freezing. Liverpool game perfect so can’t be my set up.

You can usually get a stream from up to an hour before kick off so I'd always recommend logging on as early as you can so this gives maximum time to try and sort it out but chat are not very good, you just get cut and paste answers.
You should be able to get a refund provided you e-mail and ask. They don't tend to have chat apart from during matches

I have never had one problem listed in the posts and I have used it for away games all last season.
Even on the iPad it has worked flawlessly even using my data off my mobile phone.

I imagine there will be fans up and down the country with similar issues.

For those saying they've never had any issues. Great, but some of the issues stated are basics they should be getting right no questions asked.
 
Never had any problems either last season (including a couple of times on my tablet abroad) or this season. I use an HDMI cable from my laptop into the TV with no problems. The only annoying thing is the Radio Lancs commentary which cuts to other matches. However, I think someone posted the other day that you could select your commentary by a button at the side of the screen?
On the help feature I reported the crackling commentary on the Rovers match. They contacted the transmission team and the sorted at half time

It states in the offer that there is full access across multiple platforms excepting holdback rules. I have alrwady sent another message to I follow but don't expect a response.

i have an enormous TV to watch it on, dont want to watch it on my 4 inch f*****g phone screen.
 
I bought it on my iphone which worked fine but when I tried to transfer it to my tv I could only get the audio with a black screen.Any ideas

I'm the same. I emailed them on Friday about this, got a holding email back, wondering if I'll ever get a response.
 
The problem I had was when buying the match pass shortly before the game. You click the “go to match” box after the transaction goes through in the link that pops up, and it shows a black screen with a play arrow in the centre, but doesn’t play.

the fix is to have to log out and then log back in to ifollow again. That’s a bit poor and some might not think to do it and miss half the match as a result
 
Clappers:
That didn't work for me. Standard advice from online chat is to logout, clear your cookies etc.
It's just a way of binning you off chat so when you've done that you have to start again.

I posted the above solution on Saturday to change the resolution in the settings which is in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. You can also change the commentary here as well - home or away comms ..... take your pick

I emailed iFollow a week ago about the fact I can only watch full match replays on the phone app. They have replied, sort of...

I used the same set up Simonized and it worked no problem. One thing I wasn't too happy about was that i-Follow had automatically renewed my subscription from last season which i think is a bit naughty.

I did get an email warning me it was going to happen but I needed it again this season.
