Illness in the Squad

From the Gazette, anyone know anything more about it?

In terms of injury and team news, Blackpool don't have many injuries, but as mentioned illness could rule a few players out

Albie ill against FGR, Marv ill (apparently), JLG ill, Peno ill.

Hope they are being kept away from those that feel fine

We had that last season caught from the Coventry players and it affected us really badly. If we have that going through the squad it will, of course, impact on our performances. Covid is picking up again and some people will be pretty rough with it for a while, plus other winter bugs. It's typical of our luck but might explain Boxing days performance.

All good news get the young kids on they will have desire spirit and fight. Need O Donnell in goal. Hope Grimmy has a stomach bug.
Hope you’re joking about Grimmy. Nothing wrong with his performance the other day just all round shiteness from our team. He stays first choice for me, but each to their own.

Sore throat, cough, difficulty swallowing, headache and aching since Sunday 24th. Not Covid , tested negative. No idea what it was but spoiled my Christmas.

Sorry to hear that. It’s worldwide it seems. Get well soon, plenty of fluids!

Lot's of annoyingly shit viruses about, damp winter, I had something start of this month, felt like Covid but wasn't.

Our Christmas devastated by COVID. Mental note to self: Don't buy expensive Turkey the size of Big Bird just in case. Sick of the bleedin' stuff.

Not joking OVERRATED Give O'Donnell a chance. He's too small alright as a shot stopper. Does not command his box.

They’re all coming down with “Tinkeritis”, a new illness that’s been diagnosed when players just don’t agree with the way a manager selects the team. As to date, there is only one cure.

I always refrain from the Euro kissing greeting this time of year even for hotties. Can catch any pesky virus going around, no doubt one player gets something, most of the others get it later down the line.

No Euro kissing at Christmas, yet another benefit of Brexit 👍

My kids have COVID and the main symptom is a real bad chesty cough which I’ve not previously associated with COVID.
I’ve had it twice but never had a cough

Two games running we've left in soft goals, with the keeper playing a part in both.

There isn’t a goalkeeper in the world who doesn’t make mistakes. I’m not sure O’Donnell is a better option, that being said, I wouldn’t be completely against giving him a league start to see if he can prove a point.

And it's been explicitly stated that the players don't agree with the way a manager selects the team?

Some bollocks gets stated as fact on here.
