I'm surprised we haven't signed

The master does it again.

A faint to positivity, gets the masses to lean in - bagging what’ll be nearly a tonne in the process.

Whilst simultaneously recoiling to line up an 11pm haymaker, all in one post.

You can only salute the strings he has over this board.

Chapeau, young man. Some of the best entertainment on here. 👍
Phil's the best poster on here by a country mile, even those initially skeptical of the way he operates (myself included) eventually come around to his ways.

I'd love a really good proven striker who's fallen out of favour at a club. There must be one somewhere. To come in and bag 10+ goals before the end of season.....Britt Asombalonga (I know we don't have the bucks for someone like that and he's already gone to Watford....but you get the gist)

Of course bringing 2 players in that aren't as good as what we have would be even more disappointing than not signing anyone.
Like I say I don't know who we are bringing in and I'm just speculating that two are on the way and presumably some departures as a consequence.
All done is the word on the street. Speculation ain’t too good!!

It would be great if we could sign two loan players of the calibre of Charlie Adam & DJ Campbell (2009 versions).

I'm surprised that Owen Dale hasn't been signed by Portsmouth and Virtue for Lincoln.

While on the subject of Lincoln they have signed Luke Plange on loan from Crystal Palace. A decent signing for them he looked useful last season for Derby County.
Is that the young forward who scored against us?

I must admit I was thinking that there wouldn't be anyone else, but if BISONS has said he's heard there's no more coming in, that must mean there's at least one incoming.
I've heard 2
Not bothered who as long as one of them can get it in the mixer from a throw in from our own half

We've got a couple gaping holes (well discussed & broad agreement on here) & if the board choose not to fill them, with quality signings, on their heads be it.
I'm hoping Phil's 'snout' is on the ball 🤣
UTMP

Better hope Goode & Nelson can get 15 goals between them and Jerry hits some form again - or ........You no what is definitely happening if we don't bring in a decent striker and a creative midfielder before 11PM

If we don't sign a player who can throw a ball at least 20 yards this transfer window and rest of season will be irrecoverably ruined

We do not possess a number 10, haven't for god knows how long, we have come up against many teams who have one top ballplayer pulling the strings in the middle of the park and further up, Patino is a top player but in the 6 position.
I'm not sure how many times in the last 3 or 4 seasons we have played with a 10

Probably less than 10

It's horses for courses, Appleton played with a 6 and 2 8s, Critchley 2 6s and we still don't know how MM will set up

Maybe he will play one behind a striker or maybe he will go 442 given how many wingers we have

Anyway Carey, Poveda, Patino etc could all play as a 10 if needed

He's awful
Harsh
He is L1 standard, and does not look too out of place at that level, but would be crucified by fast attackers as he was against Leeds.
Would maybe look at a swap deal to bring Accy keeper here, but that was just based on his performance against Leeds, where at 6ft 5in he commanded the area and did ok at shot stopping

We have loads of CBs now in Goode, Marv, Thorniley, Nelson, Connolly and Husband.

Priority would be a goal poacher for me.

I'm with Phil on this as my ITK mate thinks we may (or may not) sign an attacking, defensive midfielder who can play on the wings and in goal.

It's all up in the air at the minute but the moment my ITK mate reads it on Sky Sports, I will let everyone know......

If that's it then it's disappointing

Squad looks better than it did 3 months ago but still really unbalanced and I'm not sure Big Mick has the players that he would need for his style

That Harvey White would have been a decent player but he’s gone to Derby on loan but l guess we don’t need anymore loanees.

It's better than it was but I'm not sure he has the players for his style of play 🤔
I’d agree, he doesn’t have the players that suited his style of play at Cardiff.

He definitely didn’t play with a load of giants at Sunderland, Wolves or Ireland so I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt that there’s more to his tactics than giants.

Ireland he did and Wolves were really physical under him
