Any art lovers out there? Thought this was quite funny from earlier in the week.
After the embarrassing “Monkey Christ” fresco restoration, comes something far worse.
I’m not sure what they were thinking letting a furniture restorer loose on Murillo’s Immaculate Conception painting. And the cheeky sod had the temerity to put a bill in for the work.

However, it also reminded me of Mr Bean’s restoration / accidental destruction of Whistler’s Mother in the movie:

So what do we reckon? Anyone seen a worse artistic destruction, or even their own botched attempts at artwork?
