Try BisphamIs there a good Indian restaurant in Blackpool anymore?
Went with my wife to Indian Orchard a few years ago and I don't remember it being an alcohol free zone is that a recent thing?Indian Orchard Devi road still very good. Don’t think you can buy alcohol there now, but maybe you can take your own.
Last time back on the gold coast we went again and it was alcohol free - never used to be though!Went with my wife to Indian Orchard a few years ago and I don't remember it being an alcohol free zone is that a recent thing?
Anyway my wife loves the food in there and she's not a huge curry fan.
Ye about a year ago I think. Not sure why.Went with my wife to Indian Orchard a few years ago and I don't remember it being an alcohol free zone is that a recent thing?

Had a take out from there. Very niceI’ve always enjoyed the Lemon Tree in Poulton ! Last there just before Christmas, and it was superb .
The one in Cleveleys stopped doing booze a couple of years back and we stopped going straight-off, although it wasn't the finest establishment anyway. The type of decision they can probably get away with in Blackburn or Manchester but (I hope) not here. The curry mile in Rusholme is now full of shisha bars and cafés and is much less diverse than before when it used to be a good night out. There is one in Thornton which allows you to bring your own alcohol which seems a decent compromise for those places not wanting to profit from selling it.There’s quite a few Indian restaurants which are alcohol free despite previously having served alcohol.
I was told that this was due to an edict from a strict religious leader based in Blackburn who has visited the establishments and told them to stop serving alcohol.
I don’t know if there’s any truth in this but it’s what I heard.
That'll be "The Clay Oven" had several take aways from there, they have an extensive menu and it was very nice .There is one in Thornton which allows you to bring your own alcohol which seems a decent compromise for those places not wanting to profit from selling it.
All the "Indian" restaurants round here on Wirral are actually Bangladeshi owned and operated and geared for the Western/suburban market. All the food tastes broadly the same, which a real shame. It's no better in Liverpool. Manchester is the nearest decent curry for us.
Cheers STBE I will definitely give this place a whirl. TBF, the chain Bundobust on Bold Street is decent as well on the vegetarian front. Worth a go if you are in town.Welcome to Sanskruti Liverpool
Liverpool's favourite Indian - in the heart of the city!www.sanskrutirestaurant.co.uk
Yes went in East 4 West with the Mrs by chance as we walked passed, it was really good they do take away too. Used orchard garden for years and it's gone down hill over the last 12 months.. so this is our go to takeaway now, and Indian restaurantTwisted Indian street food in town is meant to be great, it was named street food restaurant of the year.
Think it's slightly different to a traditional one though.
East 4 West across the road from it any good?
Yeah it looks good, just a shame with town and parking it not as easy as one in a residential area.Yes went in East 4 West with the Mrs by chance as we walked passed, it was really good they do take away too.
