Indoor Gyms - anyone been back yet?

I went to mine this morning and it was a much better experience than I imagined.

Lucky that where I go (YMCA Lytham and/or St Annes) have big sites so they're utilising all the space available so you're at least 2-3 metres away from the next person, loads of cleaning of equipment happening regularly, sanitiser all over the place and excellent one way systems in place so it felt safer being surrounded by more respectful people than in any other public place over the last few weeks.

I packed in at my gym prior to covid as it was filthy at the best of times and I seemed to catch a cold every time I went. By the way it's not in Blackpool

The Gym in town was more than adequately prepared for social distancing/cleaning before the lockdown began, so I have every confidence it will be fine now it has reopened.
I'll be back there first thing Monday, 4 months of home workouts simply do not cut the mustard if you're used to moving decent weights.

Already finding it frustrating - have to book and am up and about and would be heading there now but can only get on at 11 🥴

Went for a spin at Banatynes yesterday afternoon, they have very good measures in place and was great to be back. But like anything it’s the level of risk you are prepared to take in trying to venture back to some kind of normality in these difficult times.

Bit of a shock picking up my normal warm up weights and thinking, jeez these are heavy 😟 Feeling very weak after 4 months off
