Firstly I offer bic razor's.
I mistakenly bought some recently forgetting what self harming little nasties they are.
Face with random bits of tissue post shave, not a good look.
Saw an NCP (Northern Citrus Product) van the other day. Got flashbacks from junior school in the 70's when cartons of that crap were dished out on sports day as if it was champagne for kids.
Zero orange content & left a taste in your mouth as if you'd been down on a skunk 🤔
Hasten to add so I would imagine.

McDonalds is fine for what it is, there's a lot of snobbery around it, the place doesn't pretend it's fine dining.
I have to take my daughter to Stafford from Macclesfield every friday and wait for 3 hours whilst she trains, last week i ventured into Stafford town centre and in a moment of weakness i had a McDonalds. I despise ketchup so they have to make my burger fresh and in this instance it arrived quickly and quite frankly it was delicious!

I'll steer clear of the McDonald's love fest but I had one of their coffees at the M6 Toll services and it was good.

I don't mind the odd McDonald's, it's gone ridiculously expensive though, 7 quid for a large big mac meal is scandalous for what it is.

Knowing a few people who work at McDonald's they aren't made 'fresh to order' anymore, haven't been for a while. I used to purposely ask from my burger without something so it was made fresh instead of the pre-made ones so the burger was cooked fresh. Now they're all made to order but the actual burger patties are cooked in bulk and 'held' to keep them warm, they should all be a similar standard now, a 6/10, you will never get a 10/10 burger anymore all cooked and prepared fresh. The chips are my gripe, when they're good they're nice, most of the time they're shit and soggy though.

The vast majority of vitamin supplements.

Most are nicely branded but poor ingredient’s which mean that on the label they look great but your body won’t process them so you just dump them straight out.

Added to that - branded cold and flu tablets or paracetamol. How do Beechams or others get away with it?
Exact same ingredients but with clever marketing telling you it is specifically for your back or headache etc.

Those vitamin supplements should have a health warning on that they don't bloody work.

Mate of mine had a stroke and was told it was caused by a vitamin deficiency he also had brittle bones.

He's been a Vegetarian for years and was convinced popping those supplements worked.

Makes me furious. A large number of vits & minerals can’t be absorbed through the gut. So either take them intravenously (via syringe or IV) or don’t bother.
There are some companies like Reflex down in Brighton way who do have a good track record for their absorb levels but still even then it’s not great.

My dad was paying a fortune for basically placebos.

Don’t think it’s ever been made to order….it’s pre made as they know roughly how many they sell at any given time….hence the name “fast food” ….

So some on here actually do eat McDonalds?

Never had one yet never intend too. 🤢

My son in law actually got a McDonalds breakfast delivered Saturday morning said he paid around £7 for egg/Bacon muffin.

Unbelievable. 😮

They used to be if you asked for something to be taken off, for example 'no onions' or 'no sauce', the burger was cooked fresh so it was made to order, unlike the pre-made ones sat waiting in view like they used to be. For a few years now all the burger patties are 'held' and then the burgers are simply constructed to order. I know several existing and former store/area managers well.

You should see the paracetamol mark up in house at BVH.

How do they get into the body normally?

Don't diss placebo power!

I’ve done it myself .They market them so well, if mildly fraudulently.

Me and billions of others like a McDonald's burger every now and again. It's just a beef sandwich.

I ignore people that slate it. Almost always fussy plain eating mince and tatties types.
Don’t mind their bacon and cheese flatbread once a week en route to work. It’s low in cals too and their toffee latte is a lot cheaper and tastier than costa. Thursday breakfast treat #livingthedream👌

Hence the need to concentrate on the natural foods that provide these vitamins and minerals.

These days they have cleaned up their act quite a bit regarding UK sourcing, though they are very sly in their language as what applies for the UK most certainly won't apply for other parts of their global empire. It's their relentless marketing that grinds me down the most. Sometimes it can be every third advert on the TV and that home delivery one where the actress says "I NEED A BIG MAC" (ironically, in the manner of Elvis) just makes me want to shoot the telly - 🤣

HA HA my wive uses them to shave me nut. still as sharp as ever. cheap as shit.

GRANDAD Anderton used to make me trench stew when i was a kid. Corn beef in with thick veg soup. ACE. it was originally Machonicies . dished out by the milllion in WW1 , Cmon JOHN Stand to GET yer rations.. LOVED him to bits. Bought me my first Blackpool KIT.

There was a time, long, long ago, in fact I’m talking about probably around 1950, when shaving cream appeared in tubes. My mum bought one for my dad, but he didn’t know. He came out of the kitchen, we didn’t have a bathroom, foaming at the mouth, saying what the bloody hell is this toothpaste.

Yawn. So every meal you eat is 100% healthy. Actually don't answer that because I already know.
Yeah I do, because a couple of years ago I had a cardiac arrest and was clinically dead for 20 mins. Induced coma, double pneumonia and triple heart bypass six weeks later gives me the right to have an opinion on shit fatty food, as that is what caused the problem. did you already know that one?
Yawn.
