Injury news?

Have I missed any updates re the injuries we picked up on Saturday?

I was hoping to have heard the extent of them by now but may have missed it?

I am really worried about Maxwell, injuries that cause a keeper to leave the field without any obvious cause are a big concern.

A bit like when we lost Gilks for a season after taking a goal kick. Hope I am wrong but have a bad feeling.

Maxwell didn't leave straight away and tried to carry on, so possibly not too bad. But to be honest we've no idea on any on the injuries.

All 3 were muscular injuries, it really does depend on the grade of the damage. Unless they are minor, they have litte hope of being fit for Forest away or more worryingly the Nobbers game.

As per Neil Critchley on the 2nd of October

Lavery / Hamstring

Keogh / Groin

Maxwell / Quad

I haven't seen any further updates since

Maxwell also had to go down with his injury in the Hull game , I always thought a keeper would throw the ball out to his defenders if he had an injury , so was very surprised that straight away after receiving treatment , in the Rovers match, he belted the ball right out to the right wing !!…….then had to go off !

I don't know why a defender didn't come short or take the ball off him tbh. I just hope that didn't make the injury worse.

A good test to see if he could carry on I guess. In the end turned out for the best he did go off in my opinion, as I don’t think he’d have reached the ball to pull off the save that Moore did.

I have a feeling that was not an injury, only a tactical intervention to allow Garbutt to change his footings

He’d of been nearer the line and caught it.

Not

Not having it. The looping header that was going in, that Moore got fingertips to. With his height disadvantage, Maxwell wouldn’t have got to it.
Woulda coulda shoulda I think he would of saved it. He will be a big miss of injured, let’s hope Moore can fill the void and tip everything away from goal.

Not disagreeing he’ll be a miss, second most clean sheets in the top 4 divisions behind Ederson at Man City.

My brother, who was right behind the goal, said the same thing. Moore's extra height made the crucial difference. UTMP
