INO Pod with Tranmere fan. (Rob Apter)

Given he is still inexperienced and young, how does he deal with experienced pros and fully grown men marking him out as a danger man?

There must have been times where he's been frustrated and had to over come that?

I’d like to know what sort of players were around him for him to score those goals and if most were solo efforts or if he relied on others in the build up and what Critchley can learn.

So the Tranny fan isn't sure about the number 10 idea. Thrives with the space out wide to attack.

Would a season on the wing be good preparation for using him as a ten next season?!

He doesn't fit into this system. Nor does CJ Hamilton. Nor does Gabriel. Nor does Lyons. The list in endless. He'll persist with it.

Players that can play the wing back role barely exist, if you want someone who is a skilled defender and a dangerous winger. People are saying Apter can't do it, but we persist with CJ all season. Who does neither well enough.

It beggars belief that we never tried a back four all season doesn't it? It's not like Critch used a back 3/5 in his previous two year spell. He must have dreamed it up during his calamitous year at Villa and QPR.

God knows what'll happen next season but I guess it'll quite likely be a back 3 of Pennington Casey and Hubby and CJ and Coulson at wing back. Apter will get frustrated with his out of position straitjacket and request a move.
