BrilliantLove Like Anthrax
Who would hack at the sunflower,
let him take heed. Your gunships
might strafe our skin, your tanks
ride roughshod over our bones,
cruise missiles pierce our heart,
your fog of war sear our lungs,
your embrace around our throat
attempt to squeeze freedom out.
But your misguided attentions,
your brute attempt to deflower, we
unrequite unreservedly. As one body
we reject your love like anthrax.
Our soul is steely and our hatred
will haunt you to your barren grave.

Any chance of a translation?’Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
‘Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!’ …
Probably the daftest poem of all time.
