I’m confused - you say Garstang is full of nob end yet you’re on about filling a coach from Kendal?? The only nob end fan I know from Garstang used to come and watch the mighty with us (when he wasn’t supporting spurs!)

My parents live in Garstang and there’s plenty of Pool knocking around. My experience is that it’s quite equal between Pool and PNE based on who I’ve spoken with and seeing colours etc.

There’s more United and Liverpool than either of us.

from what i remember, years ago, that would be my observations also.
 
My sister lives in Garatang and married a nobber! The whole bloody family on his side are nobbers….. funnily enough we don’t visit that often. In saying that, they don’t ‘go on’ and are just fair weather supporters. Quiet when we smashed them, but find a voice when they beat us by a scabby goal!

As part of the Over-Wyre collective in the mid eighties, enjoyed several 'lively' away days with the Garstang lads, notably Oxford, Middlesboro, Rochdale and Bishop Auckland to name but a few.

Sheffield Wednesday in the cup didn't count, as the old bill turned us away from Hillsborough and escorted our mini-bus all the way back to Oldham! 😫

All the while, you were no doubt at home, sat on your parents armchair, jerking off to Manure on MotD! 😜

I’d left home by mid eighties mate, lived down in Kent …..was running wild with The Canterbury “Chaucer Crew“……I could tell you some Tales*

going in the Chesterfield end SPS and watching the local Neanderthals walk menacingly towards the inevitable. Anyway as we were escorted to “our end” i remember putting my thumb up to Sam Ellis on the dug out only to be met with a fuck off kid! Never liked after that!
You and Garth getting gripped by the Old Bill at the end as you both had mercifully taunted him for the whole game. The home trip stopping off at that shop in the middle of no where! Mansfield and Rochdale was eventful too! Memories by ole lad 👍
