Is her Madj very ill?

Worrying that she keeps cancelling appointments and keeps blaming it on mobility issues!

My grandma turns 98 at the end of September and she seems to be still getting out and about a bit; she loves WhatsApp on her tablet as she can have videos and photos of all her grand, great and great, great grandchildren.

I suppose what we don't see is the amount of paperwork she does which she's obliged to do as monarch. She signed my MBE certificate thing which surprised me, so I guess she must spend hours and hours doing that sort of stuff.

I can't see her living to 100 or abdicating but I could be wrong.

Can’t really blame the old dear. Why would you want to spend your last few years in the presence of incompetents with this shit show going on. She must wonder wtf has happened to her government. We’ve even got the head girl from Derry Girls as PM for two years.

Hope she’s ok.
What is happening her family more like.
She's used to upevils of the government.

Don’t you think she looks a lot frailer since that sketch. She looks a shadow of herself when she has the audience with Liz Truss?
Liz Truss can have that effect on you!

She's an old lady, no different to any of our elderly relatives when they get to 96, not that any of mine ever have, so no surprise she isn't working quite so hard by her standards anymore.

No not ill, or as not ill as you can be at her age, she probably just has no time for no marks like Truss and Johnson. Who can blame her?

I'm not sure Harry has done a lot wrong in the scheme of things. Only the Daily Mail readership seem to hate him.

The sex offender one would probably trump a young lad moving to the USA.
Andrew has used his Royal status to get away with some very nasty behaviour (notwithstanding the age of consent is different in the UK).

Harry is just a not very bright hypocrite who is making himself fabulously wealthy (even by Royal standards) by trading on not being a Royal.

The thing that I can't quite get my head around is they both fought in wars for the country and now have no military roles.

Meanwhile, a someone else has said, to be questioning a 96 year old slowing down, shows the kind of service she's given us.

My nana died at the ripe old age of 99.5, but for the last ten years of her life didn’t know if it was half past 2 or Pancake Tuesday
Her madge is doing much better

she’s probably been to about 80 Highland games. That’s about 79-80 too many. It’s not a surprise she’s told Charles she can’t be arsed and he needs to go.

Her hands look quite purple. She’s clearly got Reynauds related arthritis or thyroid issues or some other circulatory problem ….in addition to her mobility issues, slowing down through old age infirmity. God bless her, she’s still keeping going as best she can. But not even a lifetime of pampering and wealth can hold back time forever.

You have an MBE?

Looks like HRH is very ill. Breaking news just now she is under medical supervision.

BBC News - Queen under medical supervision at Balmoral

Charles and William on the way, doesn’t sound good
My Nan was 97 when she died - fit as a fiddle the week beforehand still doing her shopping and getting out and then she felt a bit rubbish one day and within 24 hours she was gone. At that age, sadly it can happen quickly and I'm no doctor but if you looked at her hands when she met Liz Truss they were purple which would infer something is untoward.

Well said, couldn’t have put it better myself . They should show a little respect, even if they are republicans, the Queen is a 96 year old mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Show some sympathy for a very old lady and her family.

Some show more respect on here to some old footballer or pop start that dies that no fucker has ever heard of.
Human nature, get over it.

As I posted on the correct board for such things (I mean why have 2 boards if they aren't used right?) that I'm no royalist but I wish her well.

We should all be concerned that this is happening just when we are possibly about to engage Russia in something more than a war of words; facing a recession and possible meltdown of the public finances due to fuel and defence spending on top of covid. A solid icon of stability like Her Majesty is something that a can hold a country together. We definitely don’t need three days of official mourning and Charles at this juncture. Hopefully the best medics in the land can assist her.

I think it's probably too late for that now.

Spot on.

Whether Republican or Royalist you cannot argue that this wonderful lady has led an exemplary life and given remarkable service to the country.
