Is her Madj very ill?

Trust AVFTT morons to piss take even on a series issue as our gueen. Seems to me you lot should be running the country as you seem to know all the answers. If you cant show respect for anyone keep your big mouths shut.
Left wing, coarse individuals who can't find it within themselves to respect an old lady who has served her country with distinction. I doubt she wanted the job...i certainly wouldn't have. All they see is the institution they don't agree with (a minority view by the way). Resentment and hatred are two nasty traits.

I believe that she may well have died already, there is normally at least a 24 hr delay from the death to announcing it to the public with a Royal passing. Same thing happened with Prince Phillip. It will be a sad day when they announce her passing but she has served the country unbelievably well during her 70+ years on the throne.
I guess we'll see if that's possibly what happens.

They'll have had a plan in place for the sad day, as not to just shock people initially with an instant announcement, so you might be right that this gets people ready for it.

Hopefully not though.

OP London Bridge has been in place for many years, I can assure you nothing will be left until the last minute, but there are protocols that will be followed for when the inevitable happens.

I only said i believe she may well have passed already because there is a distinct difference to how the Media are reporting this event to other previous illnesses the Queen has had. The Media are well aware of OP London Bridge and will not break the protocols in place even if they know she has already passed.

I hope i am wrong though.

No one lives forever, if this turns out to be the end, it’s quite sad to see someone who we’ve all grown up with (in the background for most of us) to be no longer there. Hopefully she’s got a few more years left, but it doesn’t sound good.

I was going to comment on the coverage, it's changed tone in the past half hour or so.

BBC 1 have been reporting it continuously for nearly three hours. If she was "just" ill I don't t think they would devote that .much time to it

One thing which annoyed me was the fact that our leaving PM, and his successor, had to go up to to get her approval
on their change of Office.
WTF couldn't they do it by close circuit TV?
HM didn't look good that day and probably would have rather it didn't happen.
Also, why did they go in separate Jets?? Why didn't they travel together?
Complete waste of money.

They're ready to break the news as soon as they hear, that's why they are staying live. All they are doing is waiting for the announcement from the Royal Family and making sure they look appropriate if it comes. And they'd rather be live already when it happens than having to crash out of some inane daytime TV programme which could look clumsy. They'll stay live till the 6pm news.

All they know is it could happen any time

Operation Unicorn in Scotland

It does look like it’s all over sadly, she’s been an exemplary figure in our lives, in fact all of mine, and is due total respect. Let’s hope she pulls through this.

My Mother passed away a couple weeks back aged 97.
She was fit and independent until I started to see her frailty and poor eyesight a few weeks ago.
I gave her a chance of reaching 100 a few months back.
Each year was getting harder for her.
I’m sorry to hear this..whatever age your parents may be when they die, it’s always very sad ..🧡

I do now wonder if HMQ has actually gone and they are waiting for the rest of the family to arrive before they announce the inevitable?
Personally I think that Her Majesty has done a wonderful job for over 70 years.
I respect her immensely for the what she has done, as the figurehead of our Country.
That's the rumour I've heard but obviously not confirmed
As others have said a constant in our lives
Hard to imagine her not around

I wouldn't be surprised if she had already gone, I think all this coverage is softening the blow.
Bit like when your pet hamster go's to live on a farm.

My mum's 97 and has noticeably started to deteriorate over the past 6 months. She collapsed on Sunday night at home and was found in the morning by her carer. Had to wait for 3 hours for an ambulance and she was really confused and in a lot of pain as she had banged her head. I didn't think she was going to make it, she looked terrible but she is still in hospital, has an infection which they are trying to locate and she will be there for several more days yet. She has dementia setting in too but isn't too bad so she will be going into. a nursing home when she is discharged for a couple of weeks respite with a view of her living there if she likes it. Getting old is horrible.

As for the Queen, what a lady! I'm not a royalist but think she has been incredible and like others have said she has been a constant in the background of our lives. The death of Phillip clearly knocked the stuffing out of her and I doubt she has got over it. I hope they can do something to make her better but it sounds very serious and I think we will have King Charles before too long.

Sad news - she's led an amazing life and you can't have anything but respect for the tireless work and efforts over the years, whilst on the whole the rest of them are a shower.

If you are having a monarch, then you couldn’t really have had a better one. Not faultless but certainly as good as it gets. Sad news.

I see now that I was right. Time of Death given as 13.00 Hrs.
