Is it time

Gone are the good ol days when it only took the groundsman to fart for the game to be called off for strong winds

Worse the other week when BB1 and the Visit Blackpool covers got damaged.
Yep, cue furious repairs from the west stand knitters.

44 mph gusts, way less than the other week.

They'll barley feel that on the pitch apart from on the east side.
Andy Barley (Sic). A name from the dim, dark distant past. I've often wondered whatever became of him. Sounds like he's working in some kind of pitch-side meteorological monitoring capacity these days. Who would've thought!

What weather forecasts are watching to get the info as someone else posted about this?
I have not seen anything the last few days and apart from a strong breeze and its shorts and T-shirts tomorrow (well 40 years ago for me it would be)

Similar to Carlisle? It was all calm in the west, aside from exiting through what seemed like a wind tunnel. East stand a different story, gasheads going to get wobbled.

Did anyone else not get blown over like an old cripple like me 🤣🤛

Seriously you need to change your weather info supplier Wiz 🤦‍♂️😎
