Is Pilley no longer Mr Nice guy?

Notice on Facebook one of the Cods media team has left. There was a comment from someone saying they were sad to see him go and all the others who have left. Anyone know if Andy has been swinging the axe? It seems its not a happy ship at present.

BES will be feeling the pinch due to lockdown. The type of new businesses they prey on for contracts will be few and far between at present so cuts will be having to be made.
They club can hardly use the no ticket sales excuse for a lack of income, can they? 😂

Strangely I saw someone on Twitter who might have been the same guy who worked at FTFC but couldn't work out what he did. Their media department was ridiculous - think they had about 8 in there at one point!

I'm a bit confused with the hatred for Pilley? Not long ago, many on here were holding him and dog food Dave up as paragon of virtue and examples of good football club owners, what's changed?

Lost whatever respect i had for the guy when i was told he had a car parked outside Bloomfield Road with a big sign attached to it promoting Season Tickets at Fleetwood.

I suppose that's something to do with establishing the rivalry that has evolved, despite what some people have been saying. They/he can't be blamed for trying to get local fans to matches.

I understand that plums but we was in the middle of a battle trying to get our club back, found it very distasteful myself.

There's been redundancies at BES. I know someone who lost their job and was very unhappy in how the process was done. I suppose if your one of the ones who lose out your always going to feel like that though.
Looking from the outside it seems to me that pre Sadler Pilley was always hedging his bets because he had hopes of owning the club one day. We know that one of the interested parties at the time was from someone who already owned a football club so i'd be surprised if it wasn't him.
His attitude has definitely changed since Sadler got it. Even more so after the shenanigans when we beat them at home. I'm sure we are part of the motivation that drives him to keep throwing money at it. He's not a bad guy but he's got an ego and I think the notion that he will always be a Blackpool fan has gone. All in my opinion of course and from knowing people who know him.

BES have been laying off staff left, right and centre, the sector of the energy market they made a lot of money from is on its backside at the minute due to Coronavirus and is unlikely to improve until the end of the year at the earliest.

I think 2 of their media team have left, one being TAM’s son??

Yup but its a business -as everyone keeps saying-and he was simply trying to attract customers. Incidentally some support for Pilley pre Belekon might have made a big long term difference, but some decided the O's were the right way to continue.
I know the PL season and things that lead to it were priceless, but Pilley and other local interests would have had the club established as a force in the Championship imo.

People are failing to understand that we are heading for an economic nightmare.
Try telling that to all the financial markets Worldwide.
USA is in complete denial as many company shares move up and up.
Tesla motors who sell a small market of electric cars are now valued more than the combined motor industries. Crazy!

You'll see in about 4 months time when the fallout starts. High unemployment, failing industry, falling house prices and no doubt loads of football clubs going to the wall.

Seen Sam Duffy and Sam Fielding leave in the past week or so, both worked on the media side of things, strange for 2 to leave. Make of it what you will, might just be a coincidence 🤷🏻‍♂️

This new message board was created. Quite a few FCF types are on the original board only, some only frequent the politics forum and rarely discuss football topics, plus Oyston has gone, so highlighting the work of Pilley and Dog Food Dave, isn’t as popular pastime, anymore.
