Sounds like they've had similar issues to us, Carlisle have had to shut a stand to non season ticket holders.

Carlisle United Football Club can confirm that we have today taken the extraordinary measure of suspending ticket sales in the Warwick Road End of the stadium for the fixtures against Wigan Athletic (Tuesday 15 August) and Exeter City (Saturday 19 August) as we consider a range of options to counter

Worked in Carlisle 1994-96 & worked with a few of them. They had quite a handy firm back in the day. BCF, Border City Firm

And the BCY , Border city youth.

Paul Dodd , the head honcho of the BCF would fight with his own shadow. Forever had to watch your back if ever on a night out and he was lurking about as sure as shit is shit a kick off was never far away when he was around.

Yes you are right, i remember him. He died a few years ago at a young age. I used to go out on a weekend drinking in Carlisle & always had to watch my back being Scottish lol. Got chased out of the city once😱🙈

My first night out in Carlisle, having moved there the month earlier was with a neighbour.
We were in the Crescent bar at the top of Warwick Road ….. ( renamed White House, now the Andalusian ) when two guys all kilted up walked in.

I was told by my neighbour to drink up and let’s move on.

Not long after the place was swarming with police after the mother of all fights kicked off, with the two Scottish lads more than holding their own in a North/South battle.
 
I had the pleasure of accommodating one of the BCFs top lads and that knob from the dingles who always seemed to get his mug on the telly in the mid 90s.
One was gobby, the other respectful and reasonable.
I know which one would have knocked 7 bells out of the other if they were put in that position.
Had a handy, game firm Carlisle back in the day.
