It has to be a proper one which are extremely difficult to find in the UK, the ones the supermarkets sell are absolutely dreadful and nothing like the real thing.

I like using one to make a bread and butter pudding. Straight from Mr Oliver. He's a bit of a tit, but fair play on that particular recipe.

My wife made a wholemeal apple and Marmalade cake, adding some mincemeat to the recipe. Wow it was fantastic.
