With the next international break fast approaching is anyone planning on making the trip to Naples to watch the qualifier? or the home game v Ukraine a few days later.

Yep - if I get an Italian ticket through the FA travel club, I will be there….already have Ukraine home tickets.

I think applications close on Monday.

2,482 for us v Italy - seems awfully low that but there again trying to deter fans from travelling

Put it this way, I can't imagine any brain dead drunk knuckle draggers will want t cause any grief out there.

The police will be least of their problems and they don't mess around.
Correct RB
I went to Possitana on the Amalfi Coast for a week with my late partner. We flew to Naples so I booked a nights accommodation in the City to sample it……..wish we had stayed on the Amalfi Coast for the duration.
100% SHITHOLE been to Turin, would say it a nicer City but the memory of Heysel ensures all England fans are a target there too .🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Definitely 👍👍🚌

yes defo! I’ll renew tomorrow I do N.Macedonia at OT & Glasgow (we usually get 6K there for a friendly🤞
May do Malta if I can do it cheap
do we Ash that’s good to know and would give me a chance of a ticket if that’s the case.

it is mate been but not to a football game.
Same, stayed there for 2 nights, then pompei for 2 and sorrento for 6.

Naples was definately not worth stopping over. Should have just done a day trip there.

There was piles of rubbish literally everywhere. Really scary at night as well as all the street are basically back alleys especially in the old town.

we are actually stopping there as a port of call in June - i’m saying to the Mrs we are better off staying on the ship for that one but i think because i’ve done it in a previous life, she’s saying we should get off and have a mooch around 🤷‍♂️

I agree with her.

Travel is all about experience, so go and witness it.

I’d obviously “state the obvious”of “do’s & dont’s” ie leave your valuables on the ship, only take one card, don’t carry too much cash And guard your mobile phones and consider a burner “pay as you go” for each of you and obviously keep to the main thoroughfares avoid quiet back streets especially at night.
Perhaps get back on the ship before dark……common sense really!!!

But most of all….ENJOY👍🚌🧡

If I get a ticket through the FA we are planning on spending a week in Sorento and I will nip in and out for the game.

Mooch in the day for sure. Its definately an experience! The old town looks really cool as well and there's loads of cool cathedrals/monuments etc. Just don't look down. And get back on the ship when it gets dark 😂

we’ve stayed their before it’s handy to say the least and usually go to that Box Park for some “street food”. Not sure we’re we staying for the Ukraine game though i think it’s more central this time.

Just looked at the reverse fixture in October and hotel prices already 300+ for one night (on “wembley way”). Don’t miss a trick these hotel chains , like the airlines when it’s away games 😭

Naples is fine as long as you keep your wits about you, same as a lot of cities really. Fantastic museum with all the stuff from Pompeii, Herculaneum and Stabiae. Go to Chiaia for the night out, really cool area with loads of great bars and restaurants.
