ton up again Phil
I haven't seen you credit Critchley once.Thats nonsense as well
I've credited Critchley several times this season as i have Calderwood, Calderwood was bought in as a defensive coach Critchley is head coach so the buck stops with him
You think being in the play offs at this current time is a great achievement i don't
The target this season is promotion and at the moment we are clinging on to a play off position
If we get promoted then it will be an achievement if we don't then ultimately we have failed
The club has come a long way due to the investigation of Simon Sadler
I've given him plenty of credit yet you choose to ignore that and focus on the criticismI haven't seen you credit Critchley once.
You know for a fact that Calderwood was brought in as a defensive coach, do you? You claim to know an awful lot, when in reality you're in the same boat as the rest of us and have no real idea.
Target is promotion - being in the play offs means that we are currently on target for promotion, and that'll be the case until we are no longer in the play offs, no?
The club has come a long way due to the investment* by Simon Sadler, i agree.
I'm just happy that Blackpool are competing at the right end of the division, but ultimately you can't please all.
Well if you'd read what's on their websites you be aware of injuries and covid absences. Pool have been hard hit but is that down to our training and selection regime.Have they ? I've no idea if other clubs have lost so many crucial players.
I expect managers (like any employee in any walk of life) to learn from their mistakes. My beef is he makes too many and doesn't learn from them...and has never admitted to any!I don't really think it takes much more than looking at the league table to determine how far the club has come on in a short period of time.
Critchley has made mistakes, so do all managers. Some people on here seem to expect us to win 46 league games without conceding a goal and even then I'm sure they'd find something to whinge about.
My last match was the Huddersfield game and I returned for the homecoming, not that I need to prove anything to you.I've given him plenty of credit yet you choose to ignore that and focus on the criticism
Play the ball not the man eh
Didn't you keep going to matches when most of us were protesting, your posting style is familiar with a mushroom
We went 17 games unbeaten, is that not learning from early season mistakes?I expect managers (like any employee in any walk of life) to learn from their mistakes. My beef is he makes too many and doesn't learn from them...and has never admitted to any!
Fantastic stuff and its been done with a style and panache that we've only seen from the likes of @straightatthewall , albeit intermittently as the latter has struggled to find his form.ton up again Phil
Thank heaven for Calderwood eh?We went 17 games unbeaten, is that not learning from early season mistakes?
Strange individual.Thank heaven for Calderwood eh?
Yes you are.Strange individual.
Is this all you've got. Calling other fans when its proven you know sweet FA... Sad old manYes you are.
Honestly Mr Tozer you really need to get that chip off your shoulderYes you are.
No chip on my shoulder, just superiority.Honestly Mr Tozer you really need to get that chip off your shoulder
Was it 4 4 2?The o/p has as much clue about football as he does about hairstyles!
Would he have signed Bouffant the Italian goalkeeper? The o/p has as much clue about football as he does about hairstyles!
They're not on the copious amounts of drugs that cyclists are on.I don't think we are ready for Championship football, next season may be, the team from top to bottom will have learned a lot from this season take a look at the difference from day one to now. With another season under their belt, I think they will be ready, assuming we can keep a core set of players that is. As far as the two games a week having an effect, I find it difficult to believe they are getting fatigued over 200m plus training when compared with some other sports like tennis and cycling.
Regarding Leeds United, I have an old cricketing pal who supports them and we've had great banter for donkeys years - in fact he's always reminding me of the night we dicked 'em 5-0 at their gaff.Ekpiteta has improved massively and probably would not sure about the rest given there weren't a load of clubs queueing up to sign them
Stewart didn't even have a club for 6 months
Not sure of your Leeds comments either considering how football has changed so much, substitutions were only started in the late 60s
The target this season is promotion we haven't achieved that yet so how is being critical 'ludicrous'
So in summary i think your post is nonsense
You definitely know fuck all sad knobheadYes you are.

Heading for a 50% win ratio in his first full season better than all our former Managers, did they lose games with more finesse? Or is it just normal in football that you can’t win every game and it doesn’t have to be someone’s fault.I expect managers (like any employee in any walk of life) to learn from their mistakes. My beef is he makes too many and doesn't learn from them...and has never admitted to any!
Our good friend Phil (and I know he's a proper fan) is typically not quite so vociferous after a victory.Regarding Leeds United, I have an old cricketing pal who supports them and we've had great banter for donkeys years - in fact he's always reminding me of the night we dicked 'em 5-0 at their gaff.
Plumbs, who posted earlier on this thread, is also a big Leeds United fan (probs weighs in at about 17 stone these days) so my LeedsLeedsLeeds reference was to those two melted Yorkie Hombres.
Many pundits reckon that a team is only as good as its bench - if 8 decent players are not available to be on that bench, let alone the pitch, then that will certainly have a major effect on proceedings.
Despite everything and against the expectations of many, we beat the Mackems 1-0 at their own gaff - superb stuff by all-n-sundry, such a shame that some fans will be upset by such a performance and result.
If you think this is another 'nonsense' post, no worries mate and, if you didn't understand my 'Planet' reference, just carry on spouting out of Uranus 'coz The 'Pool Rule OK!
Let's not forget it's in league1, he's some way to go to be mentioned in the same breath as a few from our illustrious past / halcyon days.Heading for a 50% win ratio in his first full season better than all our former Managers, did they lose games with more finesse? Or is it just normal in football that you can’t win every game and it doesn’t have to be someone’s fault.
Bit ** below the belt that Phillip.I've given him plenty of credit yet you choose to ignore that and focus on the criticism

Fuck all to do with players being tired or covid or 2 games in a week
Its all to do with the head coach and his tactical ineptitude
Time and time again this season he's got the formations wrong against teams who ever man and his dog knows how they will set up
We have played 3 teams in the last 4 games who play 352 yet we have still played this 442 thus being outnumbered in midfield and hardly having a shot or a cross
Is it any wonder why we have created so few chances
Most of our best performances this season have either been when we press high, hold up play from Madine or when we have a fluid midfield and movement
442 2 banks of 4 with wide men on their wrong foot just isn't working and its either very naive or extremely arrogant to think that doing the same thing over and over again will have different results
40 odd games in and we still haven't played our most creative player in the middle where he can influence games
We have the strongest squad we have had for years but look like we are in the process of ** things up

To be fair he does say “it’s all to do with the head coach and his ineptitude”. I didn’t bother reading after that!Phil’s opening post is correct if you read it over again with how we are winning now isn’t it?

Bump for this commentThank heaven for Calderwood eh?
I agree, very poor form!Poor dragging up of a very old thread
its just people trying to be Top TangerinesI agree, very poor form!
Spot onYou have to be some sort of gigantic bellend to bring a thread up like this.
It’s a forum. People will say right and wrong things. But he can’t suddenly be wrong when talking about something in April.
Critch has got it massively wrong at points. He’s allowed. And we are allowed to criticise.

Never said Madine was shite tho."Its all to do with the head coach and his tactical ineptitude

I'd forgotten just how ridiculous Phil got.
