Ask him about his mini Metro, he lost the keys for and I was drafted in by the club to fit a new lock set and get him back on the road ASAP. Great character and a great guy too. Spoke to many City fans over last 25 years and they all idolised him as I did when he played for the Pool. Jez

Ask him about the lucky mascot the team nicked from the Forest of Arden hotel golf and country club earlier that season too. It’s a great story and apparently when forced to return it was the reason we lost at Oxford. Bizarrely had I known, I could have prevented its return until after the end of the season.
