It's Not Orange Pod with Andy Morrison.

Well worth a listen for fans who followed us at the time.

Speaks extremely well for an ex-footballer.

And he's 24 years sober.

How couldnt he remember losing his keys for his Metro?? Delivered it to his house at Pheasants Wood. He was renting the house from Paul Groves. Great interview lads, real credit to you, fascinating character.

1h 06m 50secs.
"I could spend an hour talking about what happened in the week leading up to that Oxford game. Which was a reflection of the way I lived my life away from football. Me and Eric Nixon went into that game looking like we'd been in a boxing ring with Mike Tyson."

Wish he'd told what had happened.
I remember, there had been some rumours around the time.

Chaps, that was superb: thank you.

As an ageing Seasider, I am rather disillusioned with football and BFC at the moment, for which I make no apology. Moreover, I seldom have the inclination or time to listen to podcasts.

For Andy Morrison, however, I have made an exception and I am so glad that I did.

The image you have used, above, perfectly captures a million words and reflects the contents of the podcast.

There are several things we could all talk about over alcohol, not least his articulate and measured views. I am actually saddened that failing to properly rehabilitate from an arthroscopic meniscus repair prevented him from winning a Scotland cap. However, I am also overjoyed he is genuinely proud to be in the BFC Hall of Fame and that he has conquered some personal demons.

It wasn't just the PO SF that killed us in 1996; we didn't have a BR fortress in the spring of that season, as Walsall and Rotherham demonstrated. Those decisive goals at Oxford and Chesterfield were ridiculous....

I was a few feet away from his disallowed goal at Oxford; I still believe - to this day - that he didn't foul their player. Unfortunately, his opponent was lightweight in comparison and he crumpled under the onrushing colossus, making it look like a push.

Sadly, I was also at Peterborough for a dire 0-0 draw that should have fore-warned us.

I know Andy won't see this, but he should know that some of us would count him as one of the most inspiring players that we have seen in a tangerine shirt.
