Cover for a position? Illness spreading? Sunday took it out of Gabriel after his illness?
 
6 days ago they announced his loan had been extended to Jan 29th. Somethings changed. Andy Preece thanking him for his efforts and wishing him the best sounds like he’s not going back.

Its a bit odd as its only just been announced that his loan had been extended for another month.
He's getting good reviews at Chorley and nearly the first name on the teamsheet. You can bring loan players back from clubs at Chorleys level for Trophy games and then send them back again straight after. I suspect that's what will happen with Jack.
However he was sat in the stand at Bamber Bridge yesterday so its a bit strange he wasn't training with tonights squad.
I do know he's well thought of at the Club but he's got alot of competition ahead of him.
I've nearly always seen him playing as a FB but he's definitely got the ability to cross a ball and he was the dead ball specialist for the u18s both creating and scoring from free kicks.
It would be worth trying to get him a loan at League 2 club, IMO.
