Given the lack of signings, I thought I'd have another look at our squad and I must admit I'm quite excited at the prospect of seeing more of Beesley. Looked bright in the games I saw him in last season. Good movement, good touch and an eye for goal. Thought he created space for others and dragged centre backs about in a way Madine doesn't really do.
Think a partnership of Beesley and Yates could return between 20 and 30 goals if given chance to gel. I reckon he'd allow Yates to play far more on the shoulder and look to get in behind. Beesley could also solve that issue we have of the 40 yards that was all too frequently between our centre mids and our strikers.
