150 appearances for us now, that’s come around quickly.
One of our more reliable players in recent seasons and someone who has improved well in his time with us after initially looking a red card liability. 29 now, someone who understands the club and is a good influence for the younger players - out of contract in the summer, surely he’ll be given a new contract?
 
He's very good in League 1 as the left hand side of a back 3, would probably be OK in the championship.
Have my doubts about him as a left back and he definitely isn't a centreback in a traditional pairing.
On current form would definitely be worth a 2 year deal.
 
It's not that long ago Jimmy was the whipping boy on here. I see Sonny getting the same treatment atm and frankly, it makes me angry enough to write another lengthy piece of sarcasm that mostly people will ignore.

James Husband is not going to go down as one of our best left backs and I certainly don't think he is a centre half.
I really was hoping we would bring in an upgrade in the left back/ centre half department but we didn't and I have lost count how many times we have tried to replace him, but he is probably playing the best football of his time as a Pool player! Although I still think we need to strengthen the left flank it is the players in front of Hubby that is more of a concern.
Both Dale and Thompson can be a liability in defence.
