He’s confirmed his exit from Wigan and apparently we’re pushing hard to sign him. Anyone think it would be a good signing?

We need 3 keepers mateStory from weeks ago. We ended up with O’Donnell instead
We don't.We need 3 keepers mate
Can always bring an emergency loan in like when we did it with a young Joe HartWe need 3 keepers mate
No we don'tWe need 3 keepers mate
You don't know ball palNo we don't
They do count towards the wage bill though. If the coach wants another GK, that's fine! They don't count towards the squad limit do they?
How many minutes did Stuart Moore manage for the club in the last 2 years? You don't know ball pal
Harvey Bardsley is the Development Squad keeper. Matteo Spinelli is the Youth team keeper. We don’t need 3 keepers. 2 and a youth will suffice. Who is the youth team keeper these days?
Cunningham?Harvey Bardsley is the Development Squad keeper. Matteo Spinelli is the Youth team keeper.
Harvey Bardsley is the Development Squad keeper. Matteo Spinelli is the Youth team keeper.
The key point is that he's not "of professional standing", which means he's played less than 6 games in the EFL.Good enough for third choice in your opinion?
Released last season.Cunningham?
Still listed on the club website, and I thought he played against Marine, but that could be out of date and I could be mistaken on the latter.Released last season.
Not sure tbh.Good enough for third choice in your opinion?
It was Harvey Bardsley in goal against Marine and Spinelli on the bench.Still listed on the club website, and I thought he played against Marine, but that could be out of date and I could be mistaken on the latter.
Dear god, dont start with that shite againYou don't know ball pal
Nice. Didn’t know that. No need for a third ‘professional’ keeper at all.The key point is that he's not "of professional standing", which means he's played less than 6 games in the EFL.
The reason that's important is that EFL rules permit emergency loans if there are no keepers "of professional standing" available, so the absolute worst case scenario is that both keepers get injured, and the club can't arrange a loan in time, so he has to play one game, and the odds of that are fairly remote as well.
Whilst I recognise the fact you're not even making the suggestion, if certain circumstances (beyond our control) were to arise and it was deemed necessary for an approach to be made, I'm not so sure he would any longer have the 'heart' required for such a move ...Can always bring an emergency loan in like when we did it with a young Joe Hart
... "men's"... Think: apostrophe!Not sure tbh.
He's competent enough at the level he's at but he's not had the benefit of playing "mens" football yet.
Keeper loans don't seem that easy to arrange and that's probably what he needs.
I would guess no more than 20 minutes. How many minutes did Stuart Moore manage for the club in the last 2 years?
From what I hear Harvey Bardsley is highly regarded and doesn't have an academy background. Didn't start the season well at Squires Gate though.Harvey Bardsley is the Development Squad keeper. Matteo Spinelli is the Youth team keeper.
