Edit to add, you have to question Sadler's investment on the squad too if we end up losing a few of our best players this week or in June. Lose the likes of Gabriel, Dougall and Lyons and it weakens our squad massively, you can't help but feel Sadler is happy with a League one club.

There's a page on Twitter that's dedicated to Blackburn transfer talk and even they've said they won't between this as the source is crap. In reality there's very few who have actual connections to transfer stuff and even they get stuff wrong all the time. Not point in stressing unless the club say he's going.
 
I know we were rumoured to be in for him a few weeks ago, but Ennis looked set to go to Bolton however Blackburn have decided they want a loan to buy deal and want Bolton to pay £500k for him at the end of the season. Could be a reason we backed out if we were even in for him in the first place.

Is there? On Saturday our only attacking option on the bench was Lavery who had to come on at half time due to an injury. The subs we made to try and win the game were then Gabriel and Virtue

This would be very odd unless it's a loan with a view to a permanent deal in the summer. I cant see how a 20yr old who's been out injured for half season can influence the 1st team squad. Perhaps we can send him out on loan to Tranmere.

Seems Crewe fans thought he was great. But not the experienced midfield head we were hoping for with Kenny gone.

is he still injured? If so then why are we getting him, if not then he still hasn't been staring for Shrewsbury since he's been fit. I'm probably over reacting as I'm stressed at work, but it doesn't seem like a great signing that's going to really boost our MF.

Shrewsbury seem to think he’s been back at Southampton for some time, even if the loan wasn’t officially terminated. They’ve had a change of manager too, remember

Weird ass signing.

Understand he was great for Crewe last year in League 2, but with a serious injury keeping him out all year, what good does us bringing him in?

Risk of reinjury + lack of match fitness, experience make this really underwhelming.

If he wasn’t good enough to be targeted by us in the Summer then why is he all of a sudden good enough for us now especially with the injury he’s had?

Seems like a panic loan.

Would make sense if it’s a loan to buy since he does seem to have potential, but purely from a loan perspective doesn’t make much sense.

If this is true then the decision to loan out Apter gets worse by the day. A 20-year-old who has been out injured for half a season and scored one goal on loan in league two last season against Apter who has five goals, two assists, motm awards and has been named in numerous teams of the week.
I’ll be fuming if this happens.
