January 2024 Transfer thread.

Much happier with this as a permanent than as a loan

Still not convinced it does much to solve immediate problems
Seems like the signing of Emmerson on Deadline Day in Summer 2022 window where we weren't able to get a major deal across the line, but still wanted to continue building.

It does nothing right now as he's not gonna be fit for the 4-6 weeks. Earliest he will be back is late February, at least this is what Shrewsbury were told last year.

Do you honestly think this squad is good enough to take into a play off spot , I don’t , something isn’t clicking , no consistency ether
selling to Oxford regardless what fans think of Dale , isn’t good in football sense , yes financially it is 🤷

i will be stunned if pool buy anyone, unless it’s a loan or a free , last day of summer window , nobody , is it cost cutting again
Simon did say running the club probably is the priority, stability
Clueless post

Pool won’t sign Byers or moxon as Simon dosnt want pool up
It’s to get funds in and trim the wages
Remember pool didn’t sign anyone in Last final day
Remember the statement next day saying us fans were out of order and running the club is more important than going up
If we go up we go up if not then it’s not the end
I’ve already said this in previous posts
Think Simon just wants stability at club
After last season

hope I am wrong , but we will see how ambitious pool are in today and tomorrow window , you buy to try and go up , not sell 2 players , one to a rival , Owen played in his right position might pip, pool to 6th place , after all he is a goal scorer and a provider to the strikers
owen moxon my personal opinion , be a perfect buy for pool and I like the idea of the sheff wed lad , not sure we need both thou
How do you know that the club won't buy players because the owner doesn't want us to go up, Alan? I think you're just making stuff up.

My name not Alan lol and I did say I hope I am wrong 🤷
and I dont make things up , I just say it how I see it , an opinion it’s called

It's freebies, cheapies and 🤞 for us.
All the indications are that we'll be in league 1 for the duration of Sadler's ownership.
See I don’t think it will be for years , think Simon wants stability, compared to last season
he does want us up , even mr synic me knows this , it’s just when the finaces are at right time
maybe our expectations fur this season were set to high
