In business, I always believed that you only bought an asset if you really needed it - you only sold an asset if either you had to or you wanted to. Football is a business. So, do we have to buy, given the squad we already have and, probably more importantly do we have to sell/want to sell, unless someone makes an offer that can not be refused. If such an offer is received it has to be balanced against having to pay the same/more to replace that player. Such is the madness of football business dealings. So, are we really interested in the January transfer window, or do we trust the manager/coaching staff to continue to develop the squad that we already have.
