The January transfer window is on the horizon. Which positions do we need to improve and who should we try to get for a promotion push?
 
Experienced central defender leader type.
Wide players with better delivery.
A more experienced striker than Kouassi for Rhodes to play off.
Rhodes!
Cover for Norburn/Virtue.

Ideal world obviously!

I’d be happy if that’s the only business we did.

Improving the quality in CM, up front and out wide of s always worthwhile too.
 
It’s clear that the pivotal role in Critch ball is two aggressive central midfielders. I’d strengthen there to ensure we have quality bench players to challenge Norburn and King Kenny.

We’ve enough flair and attacking players to rotate unless a real quality loan option comes up. Not worth spending hard cash in Jan if we can get better in the summer.
 
Reece James, Luke Garbutt, Gary Madine and some kid from Spurs who was brilliant at 16, shit now but there's a player in there somewhere.
 
A bigger and better goalkeeper that commands the area.

Try and keep Rhodes

Try and sign Dembele on a permanent deal even if it costs a couple of million, as I reckon he would become the first Blackpool
player to be sold for over 10 million in a couple of years' time.

Left-footed tall center half with a pace that can pass.

I would try and sell Thompson and Gabriel presuming he is fit then, and replace them with two new players in their position.

I would try and sell Beasley or send him on loan, and replace him with another forward

I would send Weir back and replace him with another loan CM
 
Looks like defender and midfielder needed (hopefully decent Prem loanees) and ditch Beesley, Thompson and Oakley-Booth on loans.
 
I think we need another central midfielder, but we can’t afford another squad member, we need someone who will be in the starting eleven if fit
 
We're still short in midfield; none of Morgan, Weir or Oakley-Boothe are good enough. So that is the key area for me. Obviously keeping Rhodes is a huge factor. The other area would be goalkeeper if Grimshaw doesn't find form.

Two quality cm’s we’re still way short in there it’s the reason we went down and it’s still not been addressed

What you've said, but if we got Moxon we're challenging top 2 not top 6. Oh and Neil has to release the shackles a bit.
