Jeremy Corbyn on the Queens death..

I have read many disgusting comments from the left and right glorifying the death of our monarch. Jeremy Corbyn demonstrates (yet again) he always seeks the humanity first despite the fact he's obviously a staunch republican. He wasn't hypocritical going overboard with false praise, non of the Johnson BS making it all about himself as per, just a dignified comment on another human being. But some on here just won't that.

👍 it’s almost as if some are upset that he didn’t live up to the daily mail caricature and do a ‘Trevor’ 😀.

Boris' eulogy was quite good tbf. A bit annoying he only ever decides to use 2% of his intellect at any one time though. Much rather listen to him than Keith's boring staccato delivery.
I was quite impressed with Theresa May’s comedy timing to be honest, but Boris spoke very well.

I struggle to listen to Starmer, everything he says sound so effected and non-genuine.

He was halfway through an anecdote about a meeting with the Queen on the Beeb and realised he was admitting to him making an absolute disaster of the Premiership, only for the Queen to be kind and say its never as bad as you fear. You could see it in his eyes.

Absolutely no self awareness

Hes a very competent orator as love him or hate him people listen to him when he speaks. Thats a skill, and definitive of being an orator.

I respect your opinion however Lytham
No, only people who love him have the patience to try to reverse engineer the shit coming out of his mouth into some kind of semi-coherent narrative. Indifferent or unsympathetic people just hear the psycho-babble incantations of a demonically possessed hand-dryer.

So how do you know if you haven't listened to him then?

Boris's eulogy was very good, but if Theresa May had spoken like that as PM she would probably still be in the job.

Good point. Bliar was another advocate to that principal then.
He was more coherent than Johnson but same principle applies up to a point. If he spoke like Bernard Manning or Mickey Flanagan would people have believed him about the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? Not sure, personally I'm less inclined to have faith and trust in most of these public school types.

We all know Boris is a colossal moron, but his one strength is public speaking. To say otherwise is nonsense. His speech the other day on Her Majesty was excellent, as was Theresa May’s.

Clearly subjective isn't it. To me he comes across as a pompous Eton school boy hamfistedly shoving dubiously correlated classical references into his speeches. And when he goes off script it's a car crash.

I don’t disagree, but love him or hate him, he made a good speech, and from what I’m reading/seeing the majority agree, and that’s my point really. He is what he is, but let’s play the ball here, not the man.

Didn't see this particular speech the other day, was talking in general.

That's where you go wrong. Surely it's about understanding the words and the lies?

The Ironic thing is, how many people will have the Peppa Pig speech ingrained in their memories, as opposed to the numerous forgettable ramblings of Corbyn.
