Jimmy Armfield - still in our thoughts

Today is the 5th anniversary of Jimmy's passing. We are sure that not a day goes by without Blackpool fans somewhere in the world having fond thoughts about him.

Apart from being a supremely loyal and distinguished servant to our club, Jimmy was also one of the most accomplished club managers and broadcasters of his era. He will never be forgotten.

BST have marked this sad anniversary with a wreath, as have the Armfield Club. RIP Jimmy, and best wishes to his family from all of us.
 
Jimmy Armfield had so many outstanding qualities high skill, pace ,intelligence, loyalty ,judgment, wide respect from all those who played with him, worked with him or knew him, not to mention a great childhood hero of mine .He was a good man so very very special.

Wonderful memories.

We will never see his like again at our beloved club.
