Hi, I manage a local U8s team and we’ve been advised that Jordan Banks has been nominated for a pride of Britain award. I thought it was a nice idea and Blackpool fans can make anything happen when they put their minds to it!

You need to write what he did, but we were given the following to cut and paste in:
At the start of this year Jordan ran 30 miles in 10 days for a local community group in memory of his uncle Reece, who took his own life in July 2019. It would of been Reece’s 30th birthday hence the 30 miles. Jordan managed to raise £3000 for counselling in the community which provides one to one sessions to the most vulnerable people in Blackpool.
Jordan also took it upon himself to leave sweets and chocolate on the emergency service vehicles during the various lockdowns.
Tragically Jordan passed away on may 11th this year after being struck by lightning. It would be great for him to get the recognition he deserved.
