A big shout out to this fellow seasider. As I was walking away from the game today I realised that my wedding ring wasn't on my finger. It had fallen off because of the cold. Thankfully Jordan had heard it bounce, picked it up and handed it to a steward. I would have had some explaining to do if I'd lost it after 45 years! So thanks again, Jordan. #UTMP
 
I once nearly lost mine in probably the daftest place I could ever imagine.
My better half originally comes from Penang and way way back then we were visiting her family….I’d guess 1983 our first visit since marrying.
Nearby were some playing fields with footie pitches( they love their footie)
I joined in with a kick about with a load of locals,mostly Indians ( Penang is a racial melting pot and as such a great place for it ) and when in goal my wedding ring flew off whilst trying to make a save.
Fortunately after a search by everyone involved in said kick about it was found….thank goodness.

I have very rarely taken it off since😂so I can feel your happiness at not losing it.

Great story. I'm glad they managed to find it.
 
A big well done to Jordan for taking the time to collect your ring & hand it in. At a time when he's no doubt keen to get home.
You must have been very relieved TT. I know I would be, as if I ever lost mine, I'd be wearing my gonads as earrings 🤣
