Josh turned down Forest after offer accepted

Did he actually turn it down because he wanted to stay or is this whats being said when it didn't go through due to whatever issue.

Either way he's here and will improve us, we have a better chance of winning games, including the nibbers with him.

They were wary of him last time and didn't know how to stop him.
The Nibbers may be looking forward to our visit, but I bet they regret it afterwards. 😂

He didn’t turn them down we moved the goal posts on what offer we’d except.

We set a price it was matched then we upped it again. I can only assume this was due to our targets going up too.
Exactly this. Moved the goalposts multiple times.

some-one suggested yesterday that there was a health/fitness problem.

It's one thing offering him a new improved contract, and I hope we do, but it's another thing trying to get him to sign one. He[and his agent ] will both know now that he's rapidly proving himself at this level and bigger and better clubs are gonna start taking an interest in him. He knows he can walk away for free in just over a years time and that can only add to what he can earn in wages, signing on fee etc.
We as fans have to enjoy Bowler whilst we can because keeping him here in the long term is nigh on impossible.

There is more chance he would sign, if a buy out clause was inserted!

Bowler - proven top end Championship quality. Potential to step up to Prem.

CB - completely unproven outside of LG1 and we may already have better (awaiting return from injury).

Imo this deal would have been a downgrade. The quality of the team and entertainment value would have suffered as a result. You need exceptional pace, vision and skill to unlock well organised Championship defences. CJ has the pace. Bowler has the vision and skill.

I've no real idea what happened to poor Nottingham Forest, but I've only just stopped laughing at us beating them 4 times in 2010 😂 😂 😂

From The Telegraph - "Blackpool FC have rejected a number of bids for Josh Bowler and insist he will stay."

Far better reading than we accepted an offer but JB rejected the move. I would of thought terms with Josh at this point were at least pencilled in.
Perhaps when they offered 3 million the club to be fair gave Josh the option if he wanted to go.

Who cares, really?

He's a Blackpool player and if he continues he'll be a far better player than at 11pm 31/1 come the summer..

I care, is he staying because he sees his future is here or to get a better deal in the summer.

Maybe Josh has learnt for his previous moves and realises that at this point in time, there is nowhere better to continue his development? Sure, he could have gone to Forest and had a massive pay rise but maybe he's playing the long game. He might decide to play out his final year and be available on a free in 2023? If he had another season like this one, he'd have a long list of clubs after him and no doubt some in the Prem.
