Confirmed Sky Sports box office, 28 pound notes, yes 28 of them 😬

Crazy money, especially during a cost of living crisis. Surely people are cutting back on sky sports, BT sports, ppv events, netflix etc?

If you want hooking up with a guy who does a brilliant firestick service that has all the above, plus efl games for 50 quid a year, give me a shout.

Well it would be £25 normally so when you consider inflations it’s probably about right.
On a side note AJ signed a contract with DAZN for 100M only a few months ago so don’t see how Sky have got it.

Sky outbid DAZN for rights of the fight probably why there charging so much..

That's 100 million up in smoke if AJ loses back to the Chisora and Whyte types of this world .

That’s just it though he’s signed with DAZN so it’s not even up for a bidding war, or at least I thought?
 
£26.95 isn't it? Piss take but be thankful you're not across the pond where they range from $59.99 to $99.99. Don't think I've paid for one since Charles Martin fight, always a decent enough stream to be found.

The Usyk fight was handled as a separate negotiation to the running DAZN contract. Still, Eddie can’t be happy about it. If AJ loses as expected it’s bad for his DAZN project and bad for the rest of his stable of young British fighters. And that’s probably better for Sky in the long term.

Makes you wonder what DAZN paid 100M for when this isn’t on and theirs a good chance the Fury fight won’t be either (should AJ win). How many big fights for Joshua after that?

£125 phone them up and ask for a new deal or your leaving.
For £80 I get every Sky channel including Sports also Netflix, two Sky Q boxes,phone and Internet.
 
The only reason these pay per view rates are so high (I do consider nearly £30.00 a lot) is because people are prepared to pay it, for the record I won’t whilst I can afford it, I just think I pay enough to Sky and should get it a a much reduced rate if not for free. I agree that top sportspersons should be very well paid, but there is a limit, just how many millions is not enough?, like a top footballer doesn’t need to be paid £500k a week, would a limit of £200k not be enough!, only way to stop it is if almost everyone said enough is enough and don’t sign up for it.
