Just another routine lie I suppose

It was always going to come out that Princess Nut Nuts, an animal welfare campaigner and friend of Pen Farthing who ran the Nowzad charity for cats and dogs in Kabul, had Bozo’s nuts in an iron grip and squeezed hard when the Ministry of Defence, RAF and Army all said “no” to evacuating pets in the last-minute emergency.

It doesn’t matter if aircraft were independently funded by animal lovers or the RSPCA or whatever. They still used military resources that should have been deployed to save people - allies who had helped the UK for 20 years and were known targets for the Taliban.

It was rubbish to claim they had used cargo planes which could not hold people, with the cats and dogs in cages “in the hold”. These were multi-purpose aircraft presumably pressurised and capable of transporting people if cats and dogs could survive. In an emergency, you evacuate people sat on the cargo hold floor with basic belting to restrain them. Bozo and Princess Nut Nuts have blood on their hands.

Exactly. Last minute evacuees were literally holding onto the wings, never mind being on a cargo plane floor.

At least he could ( in theory !) be honest and admit he's approved it.
There's the nub of it. He's incapable of honesty. Default position is denial followed by a protracted extraction of the truth over a period of time as undeniable evidence comes out, followed by deflection.

Shiny shiny, vaccines rollout, Brexit done, blah blah blah.

Here's what the e-mail said:

In light of the PM’s decision earlier today to evacuate the staff of the Nowzad animal charity,

I can see no reference to cats, dogs, or anything other than people.

Are you objecting to the evacuation of the staff? If so on what grounds?

Edit:

There is another e-mail that says this:

Equivalent charity Nowzad, run by an ex-Royal Marine, has received a lot of publicity and the PM has just authorised their staff and animals to be evacuated,

However the first was by "silver" command, and the second was from an un-named official in a minor minister's department.

No matter the situation I would always put the life and save animals before I’d even think about the humans

(Redacted) staff and...

Not beyond the bounds of sentence structure that the redacted word is animals,

I haven't suggested anything , simply posted the Guardian article, which I think is similar to the Independent, so people can make up their own minds . Maybe the Telegraph has a piece on it ! (You seem to spend a lot of time on here writing detailed defences of Govt actions, but of course you're entitled to do that . I'll just stick with what I've already posted , but see below ).

Ps . Afraid you're on shaky ground. It's presumably being reported everywhere, as by chance just switched on Sky News , which at that very moment was presenting further crystal clear evidence on this subject. Including that Trudy Harrison , PPS to Johnson , contacted an airline on 25 August to arrange a special flight to bring back people and dogs to the UK , saying that her boss was v keen to see this happen ,( or similar words ) .

And Lost's transcript omits the word redacted in a number of places, where the redacted words could make the sentences he's quoted completely different.
