Nearly didn't bother today due to it being a Bank Holiday, shite trains and busy roads

Oh and my anniversary weekend

Boys talked me into it this morning and what a joy it was

We had an hour in Q's on Lytham Road bringing back memories from when i used to go as a kid, can't believe this place is still going. It really hasn't changed!

Great fast start in the first half and an early goal, thought Big Gaz did fantastic for it bringing it down then the old fifa left button to shield the ball and a lay off. We probably should have scored another but they were always in it and dominated possession in midfield

Fair play to Appleton for not trying to match them up and for concentrating on what we can do, not sure how many times Critchley started with Bowler, Madine, Yates and Lavery but we certainly had more goal threat

Wasn't a shock them getting an equaliser as i don't think we defended that well, the Nobber lad looked really dodgy today

Had a nice little cuddle with WPC after last weeks spat, he's a decent lad really

Thought we would have a change of scenery at half time so walked around to the North from our usual seats in the South, a big fcuk you to the prick in the 53 seats who tried to stop us (didn't work did it wanker)

What a difference the North is, only had my 2 boys today so just stood at the front, great atmosphere and i thought we were really good for 20 mins or so and really should have put the game to bed at that time

Two really soft goals against then a well deserved equaliser

Nice to see some familiar faces in the boiling hot furnace of the North Stand

Bedlam.......

Really enjoyed that performance, i like Appleton and what he's trying to do, we really went for it today and played to our strengths, considering the injury list thought it was really brave from the head coach

Big week for the club, come on Big Ben do your stuff

I used to change ends just before the boycott years when crowds had diminished and there didnt seem any particular reason not to.
There was one particuar female steward with purple hair who's life mission was to prevent me which became a challenge I never lost. 😉

I think he deserves credit for the loan talents we've brought in, obviously Appleton too with his contacts and is clearly trusted.

1 good permanent in, but we need a few more.

From feeling a poor ish window at times with targets missed and some being in the media, it's actually good in some respects, some quality loans now from top clubs.

We've used loans in the past under the shit owners but that was a needs must almost, this is different and I don't think I've ever seen us attract such talent from the prem clubs.

The final week could turn it into a very good window in the end if we manage to sign a few good players permanently.

Yeah the loans are decent 👌

I agree with you, a couple of permanents in key positions and all of a sudden it will be a decent window

Wpc was telling me his knee is still sore from when you head butted him.
 
With the players he’s got available, he’s doing great so far.

Excited to see what we do this week incomings and also clear out some more dead wood. Be decent when we have Patino and Fiorini back too.

I’m honestly going to be gutted when Bowler leaves, that run 2nd half was absolutely obscene cos he stopped dead to fool the defender and then accelerated. He has been something else to watch that lad. Top top player.

I’m going to start calling him busy Ben, as he’s got a lot on at the Club.

Saw on Twitter that Appleton was in the Taps last night and I have a lot of time for that. Onwards and upwards 🧡💪🏽

Yet still there are negative vibes towards Appleton and people wanting us to 'cash in' on Josh Bowler
