At least the traffic was decent on the way home and no fog or rain to contend with for the first time in ages.
On reflection we never really got near them, they bossed probably 70 minutes of football.
The first was a great passing move and a brilliant finish. It happens.
The second didn't look like a penalty from B block, but I've not seen a replay. That killed the tie, but we were lucky to be anywhere near them truth be told.
I know Critchley likes a squad to be able to compete, but other than Marv (when defending and not passing out from the back) and O Donnel, our starting XI got absolutely nowhere near them.
If it was me, I'd have man marked their 14, he absolutely ran the show and if Sky don't give him MOTM, he's been robbed.
I thought Gabriel had a poor game, as did Connolly, the midfield was absent and Beesley is a tryer but he's never going to be able to close down on the press.
We have one eye on Saturday, I get that, but we were made to look really poor today and it is a bit frustrating.
