Just stumbled across BBC Scotland..

He was always going to go there because of his mum, but he would have been amazing for us this season if we had got him.

I love Charlie to bits and he has been through a lot and I wish him all the best

BUT

he didn't literally run the whole game.

I think it's fair to say that he was blowing out of his @rse after 75 minutes and had to be replaced.

He was good tonight and has already helped Dundee this season despite what he has been through and I am sure he can continue to make a positive contribution throughout the rest of the season - the regular playing season in the Scottish Championship has been reduced to 27 matches and this will help him - but the legs have gone and he is going to struggle for fitness and I don't think he would be able to be effective enough at a higher level.

In fairness the commentator said he hasn't trained in three weeks because of family issues, has just been tipping up for games.

Was a terrible second half wasn't it. Scottish Championship isn't much better than League One really. Entertaining enough game though.

Please don't get me wrong I love Charlie, I am just questioning his fitness.

I thought it was a good game.

The Scottish Championship is not better than League One full stop and I am not sure anybody is ever going to suggest otherwise.
 
The Dark Blues were awful at the end of last season and the beginning of this, they lacked in so many areas. However, Adam, being a local hero and a dynamo has created a resurgence not only with more points but also better football and self belief.
 
The Dark Blues are my Scottish team, since watching them play Dundee United when I was 10. Pleased for Charlie, my all time favourite Pool player. Oh for someone like him appearing on the edge of the box and lashing one in.
