Kaikai Signs for Wycombe.

"I'd describe myself as a player that likes to play with freedom and express myself on the pitch, and do things that probably most players don't do and bring excitement to the fans."

That has just set me back a bit. 😢

That's how I'd describe him as well. 😭

Best of luck to him, although it will be painful to watch I hope he has a great season for them. Noticed many (well 2, or 3) of them were puzzled why we would have let him go looking at his stats. Hard not to trust Critch at this point though.

What annoys me the most is that he was played out of position for over half the season, asked to track back etc, which is not his game at all.
When used correctly, he was often up there with the best players on the pitch.

I trust critchley when he Let him go , he sees flaws in players misty fans don’t . He’s released many experiences and good players but he has a plan and these playesrs whether good or bad don’t fit into his plan and I trust critch it will work .

Good luck to him i also think it was a mistake to let him go

Critchley never rated him he even brought in Lubala to replace Kaikai and played Kaikai out of position

Kaikai played a massive part in our success and was by far our most creative player 👏
He was our most creative player occasionally, but not often enough to play a massive part. Much better than Lubala, obviously, who was a terrible signing.

Fantastic to watch when he was on song. We all want to see that kind of talent. Smacks of Southgate leaving out Grealish, Foden and Sancho, data driven accountancy style pragmatism, but your gifted players need to be reasonably reliable. We could argue for ever about whether KK did it often enough. I think not. If you want to play in a certain position that suits you, you need to nail it down with a run of form. It didn't happen.

Sullay Kaikai played better as a No.10 rather than as a winger cutting in. But for that No.10 position I think Critchley wants a dominant player, one with huge confidence able to assert himself and control games.

For all his skills, Sullay struck me as quite a shy character who could be bullied off the ball at times and he retreated into his shell and drifted through a game. Hence the inconsistency.

When on song, we had none better. So I understand why it was such a difficult decision to release him. I suppose Critchley did not think he would develop the mental attitude he wanted him to. I hope he does well at WW.
