Karamoko Dembele 🍊

Inevitable as too good for us. Him and Rhodes carried this team which again highlights the poor recruitment policy and scattergun loan approach. Not one proper BFC player has taken to the fans this year and this sums us up. Perhaps Grimshaw as he has generally been good this season. The club have gone backwards because of this loan heavy approach and this summer will be even more dificult than last. Critchley suddenly needs to turn into a good manager and that isn't happening.

I would like to think it was a combination in a change at the top, Critch arriving and maybe shooting a bit in the dark.
Big test for what they can actually do.

The fact that the loans of Rhodes Dembele Byers and Coulson have been so successful suggests more of a laser focused approach in relation to loan policy as opposed to scattergun.

Rarely do so many loan players do well in the same season.

Unless of course we have been incredibly lucky which I doubt .

Good luck to the guy wherever he ends up. A great talent, and importantly seems to have the temperament snd resilience he will need. He has been hacked at all season and miraculously stayed fit. I look forward to seeing him on the telly a lot.

They have only done well because the rest of the team are rubbish.

Either way, it's a complete reset and you can argue we are actually in a worse position than last summer if the likes of Gabriel and Ekpiteta leave.

It's been an absolute shambles.

The “loan heavy approach” adopted by most teams in the lower divisions including the Championship!
No doubt we will do the same next season with at least 4 quality loans. Without them we have no chance of going up again. Coupled with some permanent quality signings is the solution and the boys on loan to us this season would be ideal if we could sign any of them!

To be honest who gives a crap. Whilst we play 3-5-2 under Critchley, we could sign the best players in the world and it would make no difference. Critchley's persistance with a failed and negative system makes football absolutely pointless. I was close to even giving up as a Firestick Fanny by the end.
