I'd like to thank him for everything he has contributed this season. He gave us something to be excited over .He has been one of the fleeting bright spark in a season of false starts and, in the end, failure.

I'll be watching his progress with eager anticipation that he makes it all the way to the top. He is a talent.

It was a pleasure to see him in the legendry tangerine 🍊.

Well said TEC. Hope the kid now goes on and makes it at the top level.

Enjoyed watching KDH progress into a seriously good central midfielder and maybe even Morgan Rodgers will be banging goals in Europe next season.

An exciting "get you out of your seat" player. I've posted a couple of times that he's a joy to watch when he's on form.

A bit more consistency and he'll make an upper championship player next season.

As already posted, a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing season

He gave us a chance to believe today. He must be gutted like us.

Thank god he’s played this season or we’d have been seriously struggling on the flair in this system.

What a talent he is. Cant wait to see where he ends up and hope he lights it up 👏🏻

Yes a rolls Royce of a player and only capt critch vc, could waste a season loan of such a player and fail to get in the play offs. He's not played a lot of football dont you know before coming to us.......

I know a lot of people will disagree but you have to say Critchley played a big part in re-igniting his career. The talent was obvious from his first appearance but he needed his fitness building up slowly before he could be fully unleashed. I would be amazed if he's not at a Championship club like QPR or Norwich next season as long as it isn't the Nobbers.

He also restricted it too by limiting the amount of players around him by playing 5-3-2 for the majority of the season and playing with TWO sitting midfielders making him completely isolated. And more recently watching Beesley/CJ and Lavery trip over their own laces.

Loved watching him do impossible things this season. I really hope he doesn't end up warming the bench at some championship club, he needs to be playing and entertaining the fans, way too good to be a cameo player.

He’s the only player I’ve ever seen that can somehow keep the ball at his feet when at a crazy angle, with one hand on the pitch after not quite going down and still gets up with the ball and pass his marker .
Consistency will come, especially with better players around him.

Well said.

It's amazing just how often he was fouled and just how little protection he got from refs. I was watching the highlights from the Barnsley game and his little pass to Carey for the first goal despite being quite good was done whilst being body slammed by some heffer of a Barnsley defender.

Even whilst being hacked, tripped, pushed, pulled and generally abused by opposition players he could usually keep possession or make a pass to a teammate. Just gets up and keeps on going.

The only, and I do emphasize only, point I can make for him to work on is his final pass. The slide rule sort for a forward to run in on, rather than a cross - he over hit quite a few.

I've loved watching him, and as someone says above, actually laugh aloud on so many occasions as he beats a man from a kneeling position while still having to control the ball first.

Thanks for the memories Kad. Wherever you go, I hope they allow you the freedom to show your skills.

Yeah he's been great, the go to creative player who can just turn on the pace and drift past people.

Still only very young and not the finished article.

Can be sublime and create the space out of nothing, the final ball can be a bit off at times, but can also be on point, miles better than most we have at this level.

Definitely going places considering this is his first proper season.

If only he'd had a bit more or some similar quality around him and wasn't being relied on so heavily.

Fabulous to watch. Instant control, good with both feet. Despite his size he got stuck in. Scored some crackers and his flick ons and vision were a pleasure to watch.
Most of all he had a great attitude, obviously loved his football and played with a smile on his face. Not something you see too often in this modern game.
Wish him a long , successful and exciting career

I'd like to echo all the complimentary posts about Karamoko. đź‘Ť đź‘Ť đź‘Ť
Would it be rude to say well done to the recruitment team for finding him?
Yes, fantastic player, it's been a pleasure to have him at the seaside.
My thoughts exactly about the recruitment of him, a player we'd never heard of and yet he proved to be a real find. đź‘Ť

That season will of done him the world of good.as said a real pleasure to watch and it became quite clear early the majority of our lot weren’t on the same wave length and it showed in many games.
All the best Kaddy.

Maybe that's partly because most of the other forward players aren't at his level & don't anticipate the pass. Played Hamilton in several times yesterday but no end product from roadrunner. Thanks for being a sparkle in đźź  KD.

I think over the season he’s developed massively too. His involvement in games goes beyond a few flashes of brilliance and he now gets stuck in, breaks up play and manages to hold the ball up. He’s fitter, stronger and far more aware of what’s going on around him. Stade Brestois will be very happy - whether he’s back in their squad for their next season or earning a tidy profit for them by moving to the EFL/EPL.

Whatever people say - Critchley has developed him perfectly and hopefully that results in us getting similar quality loans in next season too

Really? He made national news 8 years ago at 13 when he made his debut for Celtic under 20's, I'd certainly heard the name before.

As a mountaineering analogy, to Dembele I would perhaps attach the moniker 'Everest'; to CJ, the slightly less prosaic title of Ben Nevis (Novice?).

Like us I bet he couldn’t wait to get out of Reading !
