His support reminds me of football chairman who give managers their full backing just before sacking them
Does it ? Nothing there. Conservatives dont like an assertive , working class , Labour MP with a northern accent. Maximum amount she might owe in tax is about £2500 it seems, but different opinions from tax experts on whether owes any tax at all . Not a criminal offence. HMRC matter. The other thing re which address was her home not likely to go anywhere I think.
? Don't understand a word of that.Labour are fucked if she has to leave.
The Deputy has to be voted in and that would leave the door wide open(and they'd win)to a very pro Palestine anti Israel candidate leaving Kier with a few problems not to mention his Jewish wife!
Zahawi 'forgot' he owed the tax man £5 million, Hunt 'forgot' he owned 7 flats in Portsmouth, Robert Jenrick rushed through planning permission to save his mate £45 million, all while being ministers.Does it ? Tories trying desperately to nail her while wasting police time. Meanwhile Bamford family ( Big
donors to Tories and Boris Johnson) being investigated by HMRC as to whether might owe £500 million tax. Daily Mail probably not bothered about that.
It's not so bizarre that the media set the agenda, the strange thing is thick cnuts keep falling for it.Zahawi 'forgot' he owed the tax man £5 million, Hunt 'forgot' he owned 7 flats in Portsmouth, Robert Jenrick rushed through planning permission to save his mate £45 million, all while being ministers.
This Raynor thing goes back to before she was an MP.
Funny how the non-dom papers are chasing the story every day while William Wragg compromises national security by sending dick pics, resulting in him being blackmailed into sending on 12 other MPs phone numbers, a couple of whom also sent dick pics. That was in the news a day, then buried, while Hunt called him 'courageous' for admitting it. Absolutely bizarre how the media set the agenda.
It would appear that as with most things parliamentarians' get up to, there is more to the dick pics than has previously been disclosed.
The Westminster honeytrap mystery is even stranger than we thought
The BBC unearths crucial new details about the WhatsApp phishing scandal rocking Westminster.www.bbc.co.uk
Ah, the "let's pretend it's only the Mail" defence. There was a good article in the New European this week about the Rayner hypocrisy: https://www.theneweuropean.co.uk/the-twisted-morality-of-the-daily-mail-liz-gerard/
So morals and law abiding is only accountable then? This Raynor thing goes back to before she was an MP.
Don't tell Wizaard, he wont have anything said about his Socialist heroes, and they never do anything wrong (that he admits to)The argument the Tory’s have been worse is a joke - they all need to be clean regardless of party
….deflection innit…..only allowed on here if you swing to the leftDon't tell Wizaard, he wont have anything said about his Socialist heroes, and they never do anything wrong (that he admits to)
There is no issue with the Right to Buy rules as she sold the house 8 years after first buying it which is outside the timeframe for repaying any of the discount. The latest thinking is it's not the CGT she has to worry about, it's the right to buy discount that should've been repaid that's the killer, and the fact that she falsified her entry on the electoral register makes it look like a deliberate fraud rather than a simple mistake.
I also wonder if she declared any rents received from her brother whilst he was letting the place, because, again, that's not something that can be explained as a "mistake".
Finally, if it was just the CGT, the sensible thing to would be to admit the mistake, pay the small amount of tax, publish the "advice" and then move on, the fact that she's not doing this suggests (strongly) that she has something much more serious to hide.
This isn't going away.
No "Lord " Ashcroft has been hammering it among others , despite avoiding huge amounts of tax as a non dom ( of course totally legally).Ah, the "let's pretend it's only the Mail" defence.
There is no comparison between Ministers literally taking millions and Raynor who hasn't done anything wrong at this point. I suppose you believe in innocent until proven guilty? So morals and law abiding is only accountable then?
Youve answered your own question...how many of these have been prosecuted? There is no comparison between Ministers literally taking millions and Raynor who hasn't done anything wrong at this point. I suppose you believe in innocent until proven guilty?
Zahawi had to repay £5.8 million plus charges for his forgetfulness.Youve answered your own question...how many of these have been prosecuted?
Like Rayner, doesn't mean they are innocent, but would be nice to hear you admit, that your Party actually aren't perfect either.
Oh and the revelation that Captain Hindsight hasn't seen Rayners documentation is absolutely ludicrous....mind you he has form for this.
...and the prosecution you alluded to?Zahawi had to repay £5.8 million plus charges for his forgetfulness.
World of difference.
Are you sure that renting it out does not bring it within the scope? There is no issue with the Right to Buy rules as she sold the house 8 years after first buying it which is outside the timeframe for repaying any of the discount.
Plus the Times, BBC, etc.No "Lord " Ashcroft has been hammering it among others , despite avoiding huge amounts of tax as a non dom ( of course totally legally).
Nope, it doesn't.Are you sure that renting it out does not bring it within the scope
HMRC prosecution. £2 million fine...and the prosecution you alluded to?

Did that stop the usual suspects on this forum finding her guilty anyway? To quote your own words about Michelle Mone to this: “Has she been charged with anything yet?”
So what is she hiding then?Nope, it doesn't.
You have to rise above it Vincent and show you won’t be dragged into the same sniping.Did that stop the usual suspects on this forum finding her guilty anyway?
You want the next government to be worse than this one? Its going to be fun if the poor get even more screwed, the NHS even more broken, the environment even more fucked, the rich even richer, business stamp on normal people even more, fuel bills get even higher, corruption runs even more amok, the economy struggles even more. .?Nope, it was an agreed penalty not a prosecution...still waiting
I agree about the premise of innocent before guilty, but as it stands Rayner with the new evidence could face a criminal prosecution.
You also haven't commented on Starmers pathetic lack of knowledge over the details, bearing in mind his connection with CPS and he's the leader of her Party.
Im actually looking forward to Labours next tenure, because if you think this Government has been a car crash, just wait for Starmer's lot to get started...it's going to be fun. Feel free to bookmark it.
The difference is that MM is an obscure member of the HoL, AR may well be DPM by the end of the year. You have to rise above it Vincent and show you won’t be dragged into the same sniping.
AR has not been charged of anything yet.
You think that’s what’s gonna happen? You want the next government to be worse than this one? Fun?
Zahawi is a bright business man - Rayner is a £50k a year tops public servant.Zahawi had to repay £5.8 million plus charges for his forgetfulness.

Is bright business man code for tax evader/fraudster?Zahawi is a bright business man - Rayner is a £50k a year tops public servant.
No comparison.
Deflection? Is there anyone in the Cabinet who hasn't inadvertently failed to declare a few million?….deflection innit…..only allowed on here if you swing to the left
Or maybe there is no case to answer?I thought the Police were in Labour’s pocket.
No doubt the outcome of this latest investigation will find no case to answer.
