Didn't she put something on social media before Christmas that there would be a big announcement in the New Year? Someone also posted they had bought a house in the Manchester area?
 
Well I for one wish the pair of them all the best.He definitely doesn’t owe BFC anything but I would be delighted if he were to sign a new contract.

They do have house in Manchester (Altrincham area) but the soon to be Mrs Dougall made the intriguing comment, quite some time back, that it might be the only Christmas they spend there which started all this transfer speculation.

So I’ve just seen a picture on insta of them at some ski resort where he obvious popped the question.

Congrats and all but….couldn’t you have done that on the off season when you’re not getting paid to play football? Sorry if I’m coming across as a miserable bastard but I can’t see Arsenal letting Saka or Martinelli bugger off for a month during Christmas
 
I find it very hard to believe that we'd allow this without a compelling reason for its timing. So I think we should probably reserve judgement for now.
 
Perhaps we should give the club some credit? Bloke is seemingly at some sort of crossroads in his life, needed some time to get things sorted. In other seasons there would have been international breaks or international duty when he could have returned to his family on the other side of the world.
So rather than being cruel and heartless, the club have let him know how much they appreciate him by giving him some compassionate leave. Like any good employer would.

Well let's hope Kenny has the chance to repay that faith in him, as he was just getting back to his best.

Not much snow in Australia in the height of summer.
 
His missus has shared some more details on her Instagram today. Got engaged in the dolomites just after Christmas. She's said on that post that she will hopefully be able to share more by Sunday this week
